Question of the day?
Do you guys collect and save the first edition boxes, or does it not matter to you guys?

The version of the box doesn't really concerns me. I'm more interested in the condition of the box. Of course a c9.5-c10 first version box would be preferable over a c9.5-c10 second/third version box but that's too hard to find so I'm happy with what I've got right now. From what we've discussed in the past, I think most collectors agree with me.

Yes, I agree with Michael. Of course I prefer a c10 first edition box above a c10 second edition box. But it's like Michael says; I rather have a c8 second edition than a c7 first edition. For example; I have a c9.5 second edition box of DK-52 and a c6.5 first edition box of JR-55. I am much more happy with the 2nd edition DK-52 box than with the first edition box of JR-55.

I think most collector's agree with what Michael and Saner said, the most important factor overall is the condition of the box/game regardless of the issue edition.
I think the only exception to this would be the Pocketsize editions, as some collectors find the PS boxes more desirable due to the nice box artwork and they are also quite rare to find.

I agree, QJ. Pocket sizes are the only exception to confirm the rule. I think Michael (and every other collector) agrees on that. sAner
