What do you think if Nintendo revived Game & Watch and made new G&W games?
Would you think that would be neat? Do you think it would be a waste? Would you collect the new games?
What would you call the new spin off? (ex: Game & Watch 2, NEW Game & Watch, Game & Watch 2000)
What games do you think they should make?

I would love new G&W games, but I really doubt thats ever gonna happen. I don't think there's much of an audience for these types of games in these day and age.
Even if Nintendo were to release G&W games again, they would most likely rerelease the old classics that (old) people know.
At least they should release the last doublescreen game that was announced but never saw the ligth of day.

It would be great, but I agree that it's highly unlikely to happen.
If they just re-released old games, I think that would make a lot of people very angry. It would de-value their existing collections. I certainly wouldn't buy any re-released games.
If they were to release brand new games, though, I'm sure that most G&W collectors would buy them. I doubt that there would be much of a market for them other than in collectors, though. Most kids would look at them and say "they are no good, I want touch screens" or something like that!

I think if the were to reissue them they would do the same as they have done with the mini classic they would re release the original titles but add some new ones like smurfs , spiderman, harry potter etc, the fact that mini classics are still in production and the Nintendo Club re issues proves there is a market. David Horizon did you mean Tetris Double Screen ? Also on the topic of games that were not released i was reading an article from the 80's that stated a double screen popeye was in the works. The article also featured a picture of a donkey Kong Jr with a case like the other Coleco tabletops with the exact same colors and stickers of the one the actually was released in the shape of the Nintendo table tops.

Though I'd love for easier cheaper ways to get Game & Watches, it would end up making the originals less special. One of the specialties of collecting them is their age making them more of a treasure. It makes it that much more special. LCD devices have simmered down to more of unique toys than games nowadays. LCD games are viewed obsolete when you have a 3DS, PSP Vita, or Ipod/Ipad. It will always remain to be an intriguing style of handhelds though to many. I just think it would have been cool to see brand new titles of G&W's. Like G&Wshop said, they kind of did that with Mini Classics, but it really wasn't developed by Nintendo, as the distributor companies are the ones who programmed the Mini Classics, Nintendo was just a license.

David Horizon did you mean Tetris Double Screen ? Yeah. All though I'm reluctant to call it 'Tetris', since thats just speculation right?
