I will try this.. havnt done it before.. but will be a good experience.. Hoping it works.. Thank you for your inputs.. Jus one more question Ash.. how much should i buy a donkey kong jr table top? I am being offered for 50 Gbp.. That would really depend on the condition, what's included, etc. A loose DKJR tabletop could go for anything from 50 USD to 200 USD depending on the condition. A boxed one could go for a few hundred dollars up to $1,000+ if it's like new.

aatifk, can you speak proper English on this forum, please, this ain't Facebook!
Many forum members do not speak English as their first language, so they aren't going to understand txt speak like 'dint' and 'cud'.

Well said Andy Cole!!!!! That kind of writing is both annoying and child like. You would think it was a little boy writing it for crying out loud. We are meant to be educated people on this forum and as far as I am concerned it is disrespectful to the foreign members whose first language is not english.

Oh.. So english is a problem over here.. Nothing was done intentionally.. It was purely by reason to ease the typing speed.. By the way, Andy, I don't have time to even register on face book nor am i a member on it.. And for Jason, i wonder if any little boy wants to join this forum, he will be heavily disappointed.. So Andy, if you think i am not fit please delete my account.. I would be heavily obliged.. Thanking you in anticipation.. Very truly.. AK.. oops.. i guess this also wont work.. Plus please check my grammar and apostrophe's as you will am sure and correct my english if wrong.. oh again english should be spelled with a capital e, English..

OK, there's no need for anyone to start bickering. I think my request was appropriate and respectful.
Jason, your response, however, was un called for and excessive. Enough has been said, let's all just get along and enjoy the forum.
Andy.

Hee hee! Well, with the forum being as dead as it has been lately, a little bit of bickering might not be such a bad thing.... ;D Personally, I think you're both out of line Andy and to a greater degree, Jason. To my knowledge, there is no "rule" here about one's style of messaging, and IIRC (If I Recall Correctly) I have seen all sorts of abbreviations and acronyms being used by various members here in the past, so, I don't know why this would be a problem now. I think one thing we should keep in mind, is that some people use their mobile phone to visit this site, and if they happen to be on a train, bus, or what have you, and are adding a post to the forum, I can see why they might want to shorten certain words etc.... Having said that, I'm not a big fan of it here, but, as I mentioned earlier, I'm not aware of it not being "allowed" here. The only restriction I have seen Mike impose and remind people about, is to not post here in a language other than English. Oh, and of course to keep the language clean/non-abusive. I actually found it humourous that you were concerned about people whose mother tongue is not English, not being able to understand text speak like "dint" & "cud", meanwhile, I don't even know what those words mean!!! LOL! Anyway, there are going to be a lot of words people (whose first language is not English) wont understand even if they are "proper" words, just based on their limited vocabulary. It even happens to me sometimes! We all have different levels of education here, and more importantly, different styles of writing. And sure, I've seen all sorts of posts where the grammar is just atrocious, but, unless the powers that be actually state that text speak is not allowed here, I think aatifk's style of writing is his style of writing, and should not be criticized. Just my two cents. AC (Aris Constantini )

Thank you so much for your comments Aris. You have been of great help. I am actually thinking and typing now. And its taking a lot longer. I completely agree with your views. What if someone is on his mobile and needs a quick update. Aris really, i really appreciate your comments. Its a huge support for me after being disappointed. Thank you Andy for your rectification. All cook now. Am happy again.

LOL! Well, that's exactly my point! If you struggle, then someone who uses English as a second language is not going to understand the sentence at all. By the way, those words are short for 'Could' and 'didn't' Andy
