Hey guys (I mean guys "collectively", sorry girls ;D)
I recently got my first panorama scrren game (boxed Snoopy, no foam (see post on "Foam")) and the screen doesn't "stay up" properly. Besides holding it open with an ice-cream stick or the like, is there any repair work I can do to fix this? What is it exactly that wears out to make this happen?

Hello there, Are you sure it doesn't work? You really have to press the screen beyond a certain point if you want it to stay in place/locked. Do you get what I mean? If you don't push it far enough, it won't stay in place and it looks like it's broken. Look: Regards, sAner

Thanks sAner I see what you mean now - it has to "click" into place. Cheers - much happier! ;D

I remember my first Panorama (a loose Bombs away) and I had the same problem. Just scared to put too much pressure on the screen mechanism when opening it up so I ended up playing it whilst holding the screen open with one finger from each hand.
Then I realised how stupid I'd been. You've got to be careful with these treasures but not that careful !

I remember when I was young and got Helmet, it took me ages to figure out that the metal thing at the back was a stand.
