Yo! Loooooooooooooooooooong time, no speak. I will have to sort out some numbers for you soon Aris!! In the meantime here are the serial numbers for my shippers I was sorting out some shipping boxes the other day for a sale I had agreed when I noticed that some of the Jap boxes were stamped with a serial number. Maybe you could start up a shipper serial number database!!! They don't appear to match anything on the database, so maybe they had their own serials. I was hoping the stamp might have been the starting number for a box of 10. Anyhow here they are... DK Jnr - 92084688 Fire Attack - 61010575 Turtle Bridge - 80033269 Maybe you don't count the first number, remember a lot of matching box serials have an extra number on the end? Laters, P

Hello,
In school we have a project witch consist to build a game&watch.
In fact, we will be using PIC16f886, programming in asm (Assembler).
My question is not specified but can anyone gives me any idea about how to build a game&watch?
Thank you

I doubt any of the collectors here have the knowledge about circuits needed to guide you. If you need some general knowledge, let us know what you're looking for and we will do our best to help you! Welcome to the forum btw! Michael

In fact, we will be using PIC16f886, programming in asm (Assembler). My question is not specified but can anyone gives me any idea about how to build a game&watch? Thank you Hey ericnya Programming in Assembler Code is very difficult. We programmed it also with a PIC16 but only small programms. Programming a game&watch on a PIC16 is extremely difficult. You need inputs and an graphical output (LC-Display). You have to think of all necessary things and write it down into a process chart. But you have many parallel running "processes" in a game&watch, like timers, Clock, audio-unit,... . So it is nearly impossible because on a PIC there is no chance to run multiple "processes" because of the lack of a process controller. Maybe Coder, who have coded Assembler for 30 years can handle these problems, but i think it is too much for pupils. Sorry A game&watch unit micorprocessor conists of Timers, Clock, Audio, Eventhandlers and are build from scratch. Making game&watch "oldstyle" these days is, let say "superflous". Programming with a graphical interface, with programming languges like C#, Java, C++, Delphi, is much more effective. And you have a higher benefit with graphical programs because you can distribute it I hope you understand me, maybe i overplayed some things, but programming a game&watch with a PIC is like ... teaching a dog to drive a car (I think i had to post this 9 months earlier^^) Regards Willi

Much appreciated. I've added them to the database. AC PS Hopefully you'll start some sort of "serial number providing" trend or something.

I'm only 44/60, so there are plenty of other games that would suit me, even less expensive than those you're talking about ;D ;D. You've got the choice...
