BVD, Very nice looking PS/NOA collection you have there, and some nice rare pieces too! The shot of them piled up is cool, as most people don't get to see them from this viewpoint. You're ruining the pic by including those four PS wannabes though. Congrats on the collection! AC

Videopoche are quite rare, but not realy sought after by collectors. As I'm Belgian I like them very much.

I just wanted to add a little more to this thread - a few months on. Asking what you paid was simply a curiousity question.. Asking what you earn ,what you paid for your house ect.. isnt appropriate? Well I guess it depends on how "comfortable " you feel in your own self, and your own sense of self worth - personally.. Im a full 60 / 60 Owner, so I have a great sense of your collection and applaude it. I have no EXACT idea what my collection cost, I did say " upward of 10k " as I can account for $ 4500 in 3 games. - I have no issue letting others know, it makes ZERO difference to me, I made a choice albeit whatever that choice is, good or bad. What do I earn ? 51 K per year What did I pay for my house : $380, 450 Makes no difference to me. You can say .. well I earn alot more, I say congrats, I wish i did You can say Is that all your house is worth? I say its all I can afford and I like it. Again, Im comfortable in who I am, and what i have. Congrats again on your migthy collection.

No drama's Im from Australia - I dont have any problems talking about money becasue I dont care - to me its a pointless goal to have LOTS and LOTS of money - some of the best days ive had were with friends going to car boot and garage sales looking to spend $ 4 on Donkey kong or Fire - all those years ago to kcik start the collection.
Throwing down $ 1,000 on Ym901 wasnt a great thrill, but adding it to my colleciton was a jewlel in the crown.
I didnt mean to sound offensive - I think it its a sign of respect and admiration to reveal the true cost of your collection. I know what you have - all of us who collect KNOW what you spent or would have a fair idea.
If you want to keep it to yourself - thats fine - its just something else to talk about - what it cost.
I will give you another example :
IF i managed to get YM901 for $ 15 in a garage sale - I'd want to tell everyone..

Heh, heh, I was car booting as far back as the 1990's, I've been collecting since before most people had even heard of ebay, and I could tell you about some bargains that would make your eyes water Andy.

Hello, Got some news ! After 1 year of collecting G&W I suceeded in having a 60/60 boxed collection. And now, after 2 years of collecting I suceeded in having the 26/26 boxed PS/NOA collection incl. the 4 Mego's sealed in box Think I'll take some rest in Year 3... I've got the 9 Videopoche games complete too and decided to sell my JI21 collection. Hey, I'm Belgian, not French after all... Thank you to all who have helped me with this almost Mission Impossible !! PS: Been to some fleemarkets this summer and found some nice Gameboy stuff and a boxed Pac Man NES game. I've payed all this less than 50 euro in total (incl. a Nintendo DS with R4 card not on the photo) ;D) Please notice the Space Car toy. This is a very rare one form the mid-fiftys and in my opinion one of the most beautifull ever made by those awesome japanese toymakers ;-) Here some pics: Grtz, Gamewatcher

Well done Mr. Van Dam!!! This is the first time ever we are seeing all known 26 NOA & PS games in one photo shoot! Not even the great Devster had this many different NOA & PS games. I've got to say, the Book-Style Multi Screen games are my favourite, with Rain Shower taking top honours! Congratulations once again on achieving an incredible feat! AC PS What are you going to do when I tell you I have a PS Chef?
