Awesome, Florent! I'll definitely be buying an English copy! Will you have the previous issues translated as well? I'd love to get those. Also, will they be on eBay? I'll bet they'd sell well in Japan too if you had them translated into Japanese.

Hey Flo, is there any way you could ask your contacts about the White Spitball Sparky & Crab Grab games? I think most people here are curious as to why it was produced in the white colour (was it by accident i.e. something went wrong on the assembly line or was it intentional i.e. they produced for a reason, whatever that reason was). Also, what sort of numbers were these white games released in? 2000? 2500? 3000? We have some idea based on serial numbers of known white Supercolour games, but, it would be interesting to know for certain. Another thing I think a lot of people would be curious about, would be whether or not Egg, Chef and Turtle Bridge were ever released in a Pocketsize box. These three games have never been spotted in a PS box, so, we're assuming they were never released as such, but, there's still so much we don't know about G&W, that we can't be certain about this assumption. Any information you can obtain on these two issues would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Flo! AC

ok, the next time I go to Japan to meet some g&w related people, I will try to find an answer to your questions. But you know, I think it's just a manufactur mistake like "oh, we miss some metalical paint! What can we do?!? Ok, let's do it without metallic paint..." I mean, I'm quite sure they do not know or even remember about those strange version... But why not! Asking a question is free and getting an answer could make your knowledge rich!

That would be great Flo! Thanks!! Yes, it all depends on the individual. Some people remember all sorts of detailed experiences from jobs they had 20+ years ago. I know I do! ;D But yeah, these two questions may take all of 30 seconds to ask, and if they look at you with a confused look on their face, then, all you've lost is thirty seconds, but, if they are able to give you a whole story-type answer, most people here would be dying to hear about it! When are you planning on going? And if it's a while from now, are you going to remember to ask about the White Spitball Sparky/Crab Grab games as well as whether PS games were created for TB, Chef and Egg? I could always remind you if you like.... ;D AC

What caught my eye, was the second and third pic in the auction. There's a pic of tetris on that page. I wonder if that is an own design, like there was made in the fake game and watch competition or is it a real picture.
I hope Florent or someone else who owns a copy can clear that out. Then that would be the new holy grail!

I confirm that the pictures of the auction are from Florent's book. First image is pages 144-145, second and third images are from pages 154-155... seventh image is obviously the book's cover page, but surprizingly the seller avoids completely to show or mention the book's main infos.
I should make a search in the forum's archives, but in the book, the Tetris fake (and presented as it) is credited to "Steve".

Michael Ahhhh, I just didn't take the time to browse through the old fake game and watch competition thread. So I could have spotted that myself. Looks great though, doesn't it. I remember there were some fantastic fake designs. Great competition. René

I didn't realise that our fake competition featured in the book! I did a double-take when I saw my PS Turtle bridge in there. Only one exists in the world and I have it! I think that all of the fake comp entrants should have received free copies for the book. Andy.

Is it just me that's worthless at searching the forum? Well....anyway...could you please point me in the right direction - it would be cool to see what you guys came up with
