I know that almost everyone has a small collection of some sort. Ok most people in here have a game&watch collection but do you collect anything else ? I've got a small greek coin collection begining from the 1950s till the appearance of euro. I've also got a small collection of greek comics mostly mickey mouse, donald, asterix, lucky luke etc.
I used to own a large collection of star trek ccg cards but I've recently sold most of them.

I voted "Other".
I have a large collection of red Ferrari's ( I believe I now have 127 model-cars). All in their original box off course and different scales.

Wow, some people might ask 'Why would anyone want to collect tacky digital watches?' but lined up like that they look pretty impressive.
I expect that everyone on here has had another collection at one time or another. As I've said before, collecting is addictive, and it's very easy to start a collection of something else, especially if you regularly visit flea markets, car boot sales, etc. I used to have loads of different collections, like Atari 2600, Intellivision, Vectrex, Gameboy, viewmaster, etc, etc, etc. Now I'm just reduced to the Intellivision which I've had since I was a kid.

I have voted other nintendo stuff which is the case! my collection is any nintendo games or pack console which features Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong or Kirby! I have more than 100 different games featuring mario. There are more than 150 (lots of new mario actually, mario football, mario tennis, mario basket on DS and Gamecube...)

Didn't we have this topic a few years back ?? I've collected all kinds of things, from Comics to Trading Cards to Action Figures. I had a collection of other (vintage) games and consoles but I got rid of them all. Only kept the MB Vectrex... Like I explained elsewhere already, my Game&Watch collecting is a bit on hold at the moment. We've moved and the collection's in two big boxes at this time... What I do stil actively collect actively are HotWheels cars... Not everything HotWheels 'cause there's just too much stuff available, but I have a few castings that I really like and collect... And don't be fooled, there's the $1 HW's, but there's the $100.000 HW's too !! Here's some pics of what I collect... Thanks for looking !! Greetings, Kevin.

I mainly collect other handhelds: portable consoles and bandai electronic games.
But, I also have a decent manga and DVD collection; but it wasn't meant to be a collection in the first place!
I forgot I also have a couple of PEZ (still boxed!) I try to get especially when I'm travelling abroad.
Cheers,

It's not really a collection, but I'm looking for Franquin's work in general ( to Julien). For people who don't know, André Franquin was a belgian comics author. He succeeded to Rob-Vel and Jijé in the making of "Spirou et Fantasio" and mainly created "Gaston Lagaffe" and "Le Marsupilami". But I'm not interested in rare and expensive items. I'm satisfied to get his work in albums, in good state and in a correct edition. Rare and original items reach prices I cannot understand (and afford ;D).

That's some interesting collections! Kevin, your hotwheels collection looks very nice! Are the bigger cars part of the hotwheels collection as well ?
Frances do you have a photo ? Why the interest in Ferraris ? I'm sure you wish to get one some day, don't you ?
The watches collection looks interesting too. It's amazing what people fancy in general! I never believed your collections would be so varied!
I think I'll develop some photos of my collections as well!

Well, I said HotWheels but there's a few castings that I buy from other brands too. The 1:18 VW Buses are HotWheels. The others are Maisto, JADA Toys, ERTL etc... And Pheldge, Gaston Lagaffe or Guust Flater as he's called in Dutch just rules !! Greetings, Kevin.

Actually, I like them, but I can imagine some people would find them tacky. Even when I was at school and those type of watches were all the rage amongst the kids and the trendy adults, people called them tacky back then. Not proper watches. That Seiko one looks like one that was used in a James Bond film. I always wanted one of the casio data bank watches, could never afford one. I guess I could buy one for peanuts now, but I'd probably never wear it as I have an expensive watch which was bought for me as a gift by my company I remember playing one of the first digital watches with a game on it - it was a calculator watch and you had to press the numbers that appeared on the screen to make them disappear. If the screen filled up with numbers, the game was over. Really primitive but all the kids at school lined up with the one kid who had it this was before G&W I think. Andy p.s. Just looked on ebay and there seem to be loads of 'NEW' 'VINTAGE' digital watches - it seems that they are re-making some of the old designs, or is it simply that there are loads of stocks left? This is the one I always liked, for some reason Click here

Andy, I think I remember the EXACT watch you were talking about. I owned it (long since gone now). The closest thing I found to it on ebay is this one: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110110126155It may even have been it (25 years passing does cloud the memory a bit)!! I don't think it was PRE-G&W though. Early 80s for sure, but not before....
