I've been looking for this 1 for a while : cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5146967891I had a computer like this when I was a kid (an earlier version than the "c" though) and I'm really looking forward to play some of the games I used to play back then. My old Apple II permanently crashed a long time ago... I loved games like : Donkey Kong , Pitfall, Karateka, Captain Goodnight, Lode Runner, Rescue Raiders, .... oh the sweet memories!!! ;D I'm a happy man/little boy now

Yes, I know. But it's not the same without my old joystick or the crappy screen ;D I'm working in a room so I can put all my hobby related stuff in there + I would like a corner with all kinds or retro stuff : the G&W collection off course , that apple II, NES 8-bit and some old handhelds. But in the mean time I have indeed played some games on an emulator and I must say that with some games I really don't understand what I liked about them But there are some other games that still do it for me : boulder dash, donkey kong, lode runner, ... Laurens Update: I picked it up today and it works great!!! It's real fun to play those old games again. The typical intro music almost every game has, really brings back some great memories. With every game I start, a little bit of the little 9yo Laurens wakes up ;D But hell, I'm missing all my favourite games!! I must have put them in a different box some years ago so I wouldn't lose them and off course thats exactly what happened. I hope I can find them somewhere, those were the games I enjoyed most of all. : no double-posting Laurens!

I had a computer similar to yours when I was younger (An Amiga 500 if my memory serves my right). I used to enjoy playing the first leisure suit larry game (Which was 16+, and you had to answer all these american politics questions to get access to the game, My parents were wondering what the hell I was talking about!). I hope to find another one in my travels one day

Hey I had an amiga 1000! That's DOUBLE the power of your's, Fox A whole 1kB of RAM! ;D NO hard drive space meant you had to load the "operating system" on each time (Workbench), but the games were fantastic! Ahh, yes... Faerytale, Wrath of the Demon, Deja Vu, Marble Madness! Woohoo!! Get this - I THREW IT OUT! Gone. In the bin. Please hurt me, I oh so deserve it pulse8

Hey you guys! I was an absolute Amiga-fan! I owned an A500 (with an extra .5 kb of ram, in total 1 kb of ram because I wanted to play SIM city and Prince of Persia and those games needed the extra ram:)) and later an A1200 (with an AGA chipset instead of an ECS chipset!). Amiga RULE(D)(S) and I still have both of them AND even the original box for the A500. And the original monitor. sAner Ps-I was a member of the legendary Amiga Demoscene group called Scoopex (also very active on pc, psx, etc.). Visit their website here: tmb.wein-portal.at/scoopex/ Check the news of September 1999: tmb.wein-portal.at/scoopex/generationsahead/newsold.html

I hope to find another one in my travels one day I used to play Leisure Suit Larry on my brother's computer (a "286" I believe) That was fun indeed. Lol @ those questions, I just tried to guess the right answers and that was fun already. I do think games like that helped me a lot to understand english. Other classics on that system were Outrun, Summer Games, Arkanoid, Prince of Persia, A10 flightsim and some goofy game were you had to control a stray cat in all sorts of mini games ;D Ah, the memories... Were those games so very good or didn't we need much to enjoy ourselves, I don't know. I've never had an Amiga, nor seen it in real life tbh. But I've probably played a lot of the games that came out for it anyway. Btw Fox, that helicopter game...it didn't involve dodging balloons coming from houses below by any chance, did it? And could you create troops like jeeps with rocketlauncher, ambulances, tanks, ...? I had a game like that on my Apple, it was 1 of my all time favourites but I don't know the name anymore + I lost it with several others of the games I enjoyed most. Edit : I forgot about this 1 : paratrooper!!! That was SUPERB ;D

Saner you lucky Devil, I'd do anything to get my old amiga A500 back . Warthog, Leisure Suit Larry really taught you something about english? It taught me about ....erm...'The Birds and the Bees' so to speak. I have the game "Outrun" on my Sega. It was the very first sega game I ever bought and I still haven't completed it!! I also had an atari 2600 (Woody) back in the day, I clearly remember the game chicken (A ripoff of frogger), superman and pitfall (There were about 20 other favourites of mine, But I can't remember them off the time of my head). EDIT: I dont think that was the game I played. Im sure you had to shoot at oncoming objects/enemies (And there were cliffs around)

I had an Apple II too (II e exactly), i have always anyway with its games. Most of them still works, others don't. Asimov site is good because lot's of games are emulated but not all... : ex the very good XONIX is'nt yet emulated. Because keyboard seems to go wrong i thinks when this last game will be emulated i will throw away my apple ?....
