I just noticed that the 'most number of users' is at 26, on 26th January. Wasn't the previous record 17? That's a big leap! What happened on that day???

Yeah, unbelievable! I remember that 17 was the previous 'record' and I thought it would never be beaten again. WHAT happened on january 26th?

Wasn't that the date that people had to register/log in to visit the forums? I always visited the forums without logging in and only logged in to reply on a message.
I think many off us did it that way.

Well, if the date for the new registering was just before the 26th, it explains the high number off visitors.
Like I said, people had to login to visit the forum and before they didn't need to login.

So why don't we now see high numbers of visitors all the time then? Everytime I am on the board I see a handful of visitors only. What happened on that specific date?

I don't see how, 4 days after it was introduced, all those new members decided to register and log on at the same time.
I guess we'll never know. Nothing exciting happened on that day as far as I can remember.

The 26th of Jan is Australia Day. Perhaps "all" the Australians belonging to this forum logged on at the same time because it was a public holiday and we had nothing else on pulse8
