My Grasshoppers,
I thought I'd post this here as it is, in a way, a board announcement.
I have indeed returned from my holiday in Europe, which was about the best experience of my life, and I guess you all may be wondering why I haven't posted anything on the forums recently. The answer is this:
(Take a seat, your doctor can thank me at a later date...)
To be honest (and I never thought I'd say this) I'm thinking of selling up.
(Stop crying and sit up straight! )
Now that I have completed the 60/60 collection, it has been a huge relief, especially financially speaking. So much of a relief in fact that I have lost a lot of interest in the G&W scene. It's certainly not the community or the people, so much as the endless hunt for pieces of paperwork and the like; I just can't muster the mental energy these days for this task, as enjoyable and addictive as I used to find it.
99% of the people I have dealt with over the past two and a half years have been fantastic, and I take my hat off to all of them. You know who you are - I'm not going to name names. I need to focus my money into a house this year and what better way to get a deposit than to sell a full G&W collection? I'm sorry if this comes as a bit of a shock to a few of you (how arrogant do I sound? Sorry, don't mean for it to sound that way: love ya's all! ), but it's something that has been playing on my mind for a number of months now. I always promised myself that I'd collect all 60 boxed games, as that was my original goal.
Now, before you all rush out and ask me for prices on my collection, don't; I am in no hurry to get rid of the games I have worked so hard to acquire. If you were to offer me AU$20,000 for every piece of G&W memorabilia I have, then yeah, OK . But seriously, if you do want a piece of the action, just PM me with your offer. I'm not out to make a profit from my games; that was never my intention, but I won't be suffering an enormous loss, either If any of you wish to contact me it might be better that you do it by PM or email; I may not check the forums as much as I used to...

P.S. Sorry if this isn't a good explanation of my departure. P.M. me or post here if you want to know more. I'll answer you ASAP.
P.P.S. Pieter, I'll still do an interview if you have it available
P.P.P.S. Michael, I really appreciate you making me a staff member. If you now give this title to somebody else I'll understand
P.P.P.P.S. Pauly, Roz, Jon, other UK'ers - sorry I didn't get the chance to catch up with you; time was well against me!
