Hi Mike
I was looking for an old post of mine, so I used the 'Search all posts by member' option on the search page, but it doesn't seem to work, it just lists all posts by any member.
Also, what do you feel about having an off-topic forum? Some forums have off-topic areas and in others O/T posts are not allowed at all. The reason I was wondering is because I wanted to ask someone for help in re-designing my website, and I know there are a lot of good G&W sites, so someone must be able to help me. If anyone's reading this, PM me if you'd like to help!
Andy.

Andy, I believe (and I may be wrong) that "members" isn't a specific member, but rather "members" as opposed to "guests" (who can't post on this forum anyway, as is my understanding). I'm sure Mike will shed some more light.... pulse8

hi andy just tried the search function myself. you know there are two empty search boxes, on the first line, just type in your name, on the second line, choose posts by members, and ignore the empty box on its right hand side. and change the date period, eg the past 700 days??? and the number of posts to be shown. i tried with my name, and it did come up with most of my posts, so have a go! cheers red-buggy

Forget it, I just realised that's the wrong option. You were right, pulse8 that option is for any members. The one I should have been using was "Search all posts by:"
doh!

Andy, regarding off-topic messages, I usually don't mind a lot especially if they have some relation to game&watch (like the site you need to build). So feel free to start a thread about it in the game&watch related stuff forum.
I thought of creating a "general chat" forum some time ago but there wasn't much interest so I abandoned the idea.
