Could it be: 1) Games of that serial number DON'T have ACL/alarm pins, which this one has 2) The battery cover(or the back of the game) is from FIRE(fr-27) Am i right

The back of the game is from Egg. The problem is the first one Pat mentioned. My guess is that someone has replaced the back of the unit with one from another Egg.

Hey guys, Pat was almost 100% right. Mike is too. The front of this Egg and the back do not belong together, the back is from an earlier version than the front. Pat is also right about the b/c; it is a b/c from FR-27 and not from Egg. BTW: Look at this Egg from the same seller: cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3185400259&category=2541It has exactly the same pattern of black stains BUT has a different s/n and not the same scratches on the metal! Also this Egg has a low serial and acl/alarm pins. Strange! Cheers, sAner

The seller is a different seller (last one was hobbymodel, this one the-dream-toy). I think the sellers are placing alarm/acl pins in the game to try and increase its value. Pat

You're even right Fox!! It is a different seller (my fault). But look at the pattern of the stains --> it's exactly the same!!!

I seriously doubt that the existence of the acl/alarm pins increase this item's value. In fact, it has the opposite effect since most collectors can see that the front and the back of the unit don't belong together..

Donkey Kong II (all other Multiscreens too) doesn't have a stand. So, it can't be intact. Marcel

Yes Pat, that's the other one. Nintendo game&watch LCD characters aren't consisted of pixels. They're preprogrammed on the lcd screen.

HELLO GUY'S and GALLS!
I'm kinda new here but everybody be asured that I share your Game&Watch enthusiasm aswell!
I think I found something peculiar belonging in this tread! The game I mean is "Tropical Fish"
Is everybody familiar what happens to the fish that your bowl-sliding character drops to the floor? The cat on the left side of the screen dashes forward unter the aquarium, it then pics up the dropped fish and disappears with it under the right aquarium to eat it in solitude. Afterwards one can see a tiny fish skeleton arching it's way out of the cat's hidingplace to the floor.
Now the peculiar thing: In "Game B" it is possible with the bowl to catch 2 fishes at the same time. You can even see the score rise by two digits at the same time. That means that the game acknowlegdes that two fishes fit in the bowl at the same time! BUT, has anybody noticed how many fishes the cat eats after dropping those two fishes?
Cheers, Balder
