No problem as long as the owner of the thread is cool with it!

Another really cool thing you can do is after you have done all of the above and copied into new image, you can then use the smuge tool to take off the rough edges of the box, working from the inside out. another really cool tool is the clone tool..... but thats a bit more complex... gw.ozcreations.com.au/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=9This link shows the boxes I fixed up. There is almost no boxes that good known to exist in pocketsized. -B

thx B. I'm familiar with the clone tool etc. but it just takes too much time and my aim is not to retouch my boxes to that level. I'm trying to keep the integrity of the boxes I have so that they are still a good representation of my actual collection as opposed to over enhanced clean versions. A few creases here and there add to their authenticity and history. I just like them on white and the reflection adds a certain elegance to the image. Check out my site to see how they fit the clean layout. I'll keep adding 'actual' pics to this thread so everyone can see what I've got. Cheers, Aporva

Approva,
Dont get me wrong...the pics look great and you have dont a great job...
My point was that the cropped pics could never been the same as in life since the cropped are what it means cropped and as such the edges are just 100% perfect as if it has been cut with a knife.

Hey Wilson, Thanks, I didn't take offence or anything I had a spare 10 minutes so ended up making the reply a bit more detailed! But yes you are right - cropped is cropped. sAner, thanks for the compliments. I guess you are talking about my dixonbaxi site? Glad you like it. It's nice to be able to do what you love for a living. Brendan, forgot to mention in my previous - think your site is great. So much info - you must be working on it all the time! The PS list is a good idea, the only problem is that it will now make me want to collect those too... Cheers, Aporva
