Do you have a degree in graphic design Apporva? You've got a real "eye" for form, shape and colour. Nice collection! Note to self - get back in the "pretentious corner" Jon

Hey, Aporva, nice games you have, and great skill, of course! I always wondered if you actually photographed games on a shiny reflective surface or if you 'photoshopped' it. Now I see it's the latter!

Andy, I think that you are correct to assume that it was "photoshoped" There is no possible way for edges to be so clean. Wilson Hi guys. Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the collection. It was been fun! As to the photoshopped question, let me clear this up for everyone. The pics on white are from my upcoming website. The point of it being that I want a place where the GWs look their best. You could call it a gallery. The images start out as front on digital pics. (I did shoot on white and tried to get the reflection in camera, but it was too much work ) So I take the pics at a large size, then adjust the levels so they don't look muddy, then draw a path round the box, copy it onto a white background, and duplicate it to make the reflection. As you can see they look the biz. In terms of quality of boxes and clean edges Wilson, you'd be surprised at how clean you can get them in a digital pic with the camera on a tripod. These are C9+ boxes so close to perfect so it's much easier. But yes you are right a bit of cropping does occur so it looks super sharp. But that's because I want the pics on the site to look super cool. My other pics show box condition etc. Here's 4 pics showing the Manhole I got from Innis (Pulse 8) go through the process. As you can see the box itself is not photoshopped. The image is the actual box. Original image: Adjust levels to brighten: Cut and paste onto white: Add reflection/final image: Hope that clears it up. Cheers. Aporva

I've done a similar thing on my website. It's an attempt to give a generic picture of the game. One such example: gameandwatchnow.com/new/mygames.php?modelno=MT-03This picture is designed to cover all instances of the game in question, so I know where you're coming from Apporva. @mike (admin) - if you consider this thread-hijacking please just delete this post!

(Mike - will get back to the business of my collection in future posts. Hope this sidetrack is cool.)
