Looking mighty sweet! You've got some great items Pulse8! sAner I love the way everyone is photographing their collection (that is: from above displayed on the floor). I will soon take a picture of my collection this way.

I do have a question on glass cabinets. Is the light damaging for the games with no boxes?
The reason why I ask is that I'm going to buy a dry cupboard like the dry box of cameras for my loose games and I don't want them to get sun damage.
Regards, Nelson.

Nelson, To be honest, it's extremely rare that I let any sunlight in to the room, and even then, never any direct sunlight. What I am more concerned about is that I have fluorescent globes in this room. If they are shining directly onto the boxed games, might this cause any fading Any comments welcomed. Cheers. pulse8

To be frank, I don't know. The senior collectors say it's always best to keep in dark places. I do put my games in closed non-transparent cupboards. But I'm more concerned with humidity.
I will eventually store my games separately from their boxes. Maybe I'll put the boxes out on display and put all the games in dry boxes/camera case or dry cupboards.

Indirect low levels of sunlight would take a very long time to do any major damage... I personally would prefer to see them and get some "visual" usage.
Interestingly it may be UV thats doing the damage, so a UV resistant window coating may fix the problem or even having your glass unit covered with a cheap clear car window tint.
Ever see the stickers that have been UV resistant plastic coated, normally used for signs / car ads that have high levels of sun exposure, they last 10 times as long.... no reason why somthing simmillar cant be used on the glass...
Apparently it comes in a stick on roll.... cover your boxes, kill a few birds with one stone, nice laminated finish, easy to clean, durable and no fading ;D
