Hi all, Yes, I'm still alive, I've just been very busy. I do try to stop by just to see how things are going in the G&W world. I've had an idea for quite some time to take some snapshots around town of everyday sights that we may recognise as G&W related items, just like this licence plate... Other ideas that may be seen around town: - Street signs - Business names - Product names - etc... What else can you find? pulse8 P.S. I miss you guys, I'll try to keep in touch!

License plates are a constant source of G&W references. In the UK, since 2001, we have had a vehicle numbering system that goes like this: XX11 YYY (XX is 2 letters representing which part of the country the car was registered in, 11 is 2 numbers representing the date and YYY are 3 random letters) I won't go into all the explanations about how the numbers work but it's quite possible to see numbers starting with: OP51 FL02 DK52 MT03 DM53 RC04 GH54 (No IP05, They don't allow I's) JR55 MH06 MW56 CN07 This series will continue until 2010 and then it changes and more combinations become possible.
In the year 2026, it will be possible to buy the number plate EG26 EGG!!

Here it is (reduced) if you want it Ulf: www.kershawmusic.net/gw/images/forum/ulfatar.jpg70K rather than 1.4 Meg EDIT: PS - Greenhouse - Very drole! PPS - Good point Andy! I'll have to keep my eyes open. I don't have a camera in my phone (it's a PHONE for god's sake ) so I'll have to start carrying my camera everywhere, just in case..

In the year 2026, it will be possible to buy the number plate EG26 EGG!! Andy I'd love that one! Here you go Ulf, this will load before the text does! 1.4MB > 70KB > 27KB Now how can I make it smaller... Forgot that some still use dial up connection... Well I'm not on dial up, I'm on 512k, but that thing still took 15 seconds to load! I have another G&W sighting in mind which I'll try to get on here soon. pulse8
