Thought I would start a thread of "unrealistic" (verging on deceitful...) ebay descriptions. Here's one to kick us off! cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3065936109I particularly like "If you are good at fixing screens then you may get this at a great deal!" Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear ;D Screen not working properly, No Battery cover, No front metal fascia, but AT LEAST THE SOUND IS GREAT!

Boy, this thread has the means to be the longest thread ever created in this forum! ;D I can post about 2187462384 links of auctions of mint items that are about c7 or mimb damaged items or new games with broken parts. I'm sick and tired of this.. (not of the thread ). Michael

I think it's funny when you see the title of an auction like "Nintendo Game & Watch MIB"...then the very first line of the seller's description says "only some small scratches on the front cover"
Remember, "eBay mint" is often around the c8 mark.

Well, that's not just e-bay. Everywhere where people (try) to sell you g&w's and/or boxes you have to take their remarks with a pinch of salt. C10=C8, C8=C6,5 etc. That's why I always liked buying from you guys (QJ and Mike) because your remarks really match the condition of the items.

Hi! THat Popeye Panorama that Jon was talking about seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth! ( Or at least in the trash) . I got this really weird email from eBay, as i placed a bid of $1 on it (i know, i was crazy to bid that much). Anyway the email said something about " SB NOTICE: eBay Auction 3065936109 Cancelled - Results Null and Void". Does anyone know what this means?

Maybe ... I got such an e-mail once too. In that case the reason for getting such an e-mail from e-bay was the that the seller was banned by e-bay. Maybe this happened to "your" seller aswell?

Just like sAner said, the seller's account has probably been suspended or the auction pulled by eBay for a certain reason.
I don't think eBay will tell you why when they cancel an auction so don't waste your time asking them.
Situations like this usually occur when the seller owes eBay fees.

HI You know MIB could also just simply mean that the game comes in the box. -Matt

the seller might possible mean that, now i think about it, Like the game is Mint and its in a box.. Though i think the seller should be a LOT clearer on the state of the box.
