Yes, that is strange. Is the battery area tailored to fit the LR43s? I like how they made an independent mold with the hangul and "Made in Korea" stamped on it. Is "Nintendo" written anywhere inside or outside of the games?
GWG-310 and GWG-330... So other than the Lion, there must also be a "GWG-320" out there right? Maybe "GWG" stands for "Game Watch GoldStar."

This NOS Life Boat comes from the original White Mountain collection. They've been dated by the original owner of the White Mountain collection, Kennet Neily, on the inside on the boxes, like he dated his comics. They've also been kept, like the comics, in excellent condition. For more information about the White Mountain Collection check out: www.comicpedigrees.com/pedigrees#WHITE_MOUNTAINwww.pedigreecomics.com/article.php?article_id=6Nice purchase from Jason: And rare panorama flyer plus my second Pocket power flyer: And don't miss my earlier post on my 2 Korean edition game & watch:

By the way, I talked to a Korean collector and he said the hangul (Korean script) on the front of the games translates to "Mini Com." He also said GoldStar changed their name to LG (now a widely-known brand), which stands for "Lucky GoldStar."

Great research discovery. LG is like Samsung i.e. a consumer electronics brand from Korea

Does the "24.97" indicate what the White Mountain collector originally paid? If so, I'd say it's gone up a bit in value since then.
