I've seen a handful of these through the years in much better shape selling for much cheaper, like in the 10,000 to 30,000 USD range. Does anyone know why so many people bid this one up so high??? It's in terrible shape and has "Mario" written in pen on the torn front label!

This is madness! The gold one already cracked 100,000 USD. It'll be interesting to see what they end at.

Especially in the condition they are in. There's no label on the gold one. It will be interesting to see what the gray cart in nice condition sells for, since one just sold for $100,000 that had a scrapped off label and "Mario" written in pen.

Are they both the same? The good condition NES is finished in 17hrs and is no where near at the amount of the bad conditioned NES. Just over $100,000 with 3 days left, do you think it's genuine bids?

To me it's insane to spend that much, but to some people who are financially well off, that's a small price to pay to bring back childhood memories. I'm curious what they will end at.

JB I know it sounds crazy, but $100,000 for someone who makes $5 million a year is like $1000 to someone who makes $50 thousand a year. I don't think the gold one will go much higher than $100,000 because the last "Mario" one stopped there. No sniping occurred in the last few seconds.
