Hey How many members have got a Wii? I've recently bought one and have been having fun creating mii's for my family and friends. It's quite a challenge to create one that actually looks like the real person. I also discovered miicharacters.com which is a site full of mii's of famous people and fictional characters you will recognise. They even provide instructions for creating the mii yourself. Has anyone made a mii that REALLY looks like the real person? It's a challenge, like I said. Andy

We have a wii too, it´s much fun. But can also be very exhausting! Wii sports resort is a game that requires a lot of moving around!! I prefer playing the new super mario bros. Not so much moving around for you! My 4,5 year old boy is a great team player too! About the mii´s we only used the regular options, haven´t looked much closer on that.

Softmodded? Can you explain?! I just bought Wii fit plus as well and there's a mini game on there called obstacle course. You have to move your body to cause the character on screen to walk along moving ramps, jump over logs and avoid obstacles. Sound familiar?! It's the closest you'll get to being mario! Check it out! Hi Andy Softmodded = modified with files without the need for a chip to be soldered to the PCB. By doing this, I can play backup/burnt games via DVD, SDHC, USB Pen/Flash drive or external USB HDD, although Nintendo have changed the internal componentry of the DVD drive in newer Wii's, so they WILL NOT read any sort of pressed or burnt DVDs (they will of course still read real Wii & Gamecube games) but no matter, USB is by far the better option. It also allows you to utilise your Wii as a media player, run homebrew & you can install WiiWare & Virtual Console games too without having to buy them through the Shopping Channel Here is some pics of my System Menu & other Channels I have installed : Damo's WiiCool, Wii Fit Plus sounds like alot of fun Damo

Thanks, Damo. I googled soft modding and found a page. It looks really complicated and long winded. Is it?
Andy.

Thanks, Damo. I googled soft modding and found a page. It looks really complicated and long winded. Is it? Andy. Hi Andy No, it isn't complicated. I found it very easy to do. I strongly recommend that if you are going to softmod your Wii that you read up on it as much as you can BEFORE commencing, so you don't make any 'noob' mistakes. Here are 2 links I HIGHLY recommend : GBATemp - Wii DiscussionsWii Complete Softmod guideThe whole process should take an hour or so and you do need an SD or SDHC card to softmod your Wii.Here is a very BASIC step by step : 1. Bannerbomb - exploit to start softmod process 2. HackMii - installs BootMii, HomeBrew Channel (HBC) & DVDx 3. NAND Backup - so you can restore your System if needed 4. Trucha Bug Restorer - patches System IOS's 5. cIOS249 - install to use HomeBrew & allow backups to work 6. cIOS222 - install to improve overall compatibility 7. USBLoader - install a USBLoader to play backups. Recommend Configurable USB Loader If you have any questions or need or would like some help, fire away Damo

Hi Damo,
A friend of mine just asked me a few days ago what was possible to do on a Wii. I transmitted him the infos you gave here. So thanks for him.
Maybe I'll come back to you if he has any question/problem.

I've recreated myself, with almost perfection, in practically every video game known to man that has a feature letting you alter the appearence of your character...... Wich is kinda depressing because looking like a video game character isn't all that it's hyped up to be ;D
