Does anyone here have a Popeye Pano with a "JASRAC" logo and item number right above the "Game & Watch" logo? I own two of them and have seen two others. A quick Google search brought up the acronym for "Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers", but that doesn't sound right to me. Any knowledge on this would be appreciated. - Ash Attachments:

That name rings a bell to me, don't know why, but I think I have seen it before? Of course it looks familiar to you Paul! It's the name of the ointment your doctor prescribed for you to deal with that case of crabs you had! ;D AC

Hey ash888, "Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers" you info is correct. All Japanese Popeye Panoramas came with that sticker. for coyright purposes in relation to the popeye character Damo

Hi Damo,
Thanks for that interesting bit of info. So it wasn't needed for Mickey Mouse? I don't think I've seen that logo on anything except for Popeye Pano.

Hi Damo, Thanks for that interesting bit of info. So it wasn't needed for Mickey Mouse? I don't think I've seen that logo on anything except for Popeye Pano. Nintendo didn't acquire complete copyright privelages for all G&W games with Mickey Mouse as a character, hence why Donkey Kong Circus Panorama & Egg exist. Also, from memory, Japanese Popeye TTs also have the JASRAC sticker. Damo
