Hi vortex: Nice to see there is still someone playing with his games, and trying to beat the highscores. It's a great experience when you clock a G&W for the first time. Well done and keep playing!

Hi Vortex, welcome to the forum! As Pablo mentioned, good to see another collector that actually plays/finds time to play, the games! LOL! Nice high scores on the MCF TT! You demolished the previous high score!!! Aw man!!! I see you beat my high score on MCF widescreen. Now I have to get it out and see if I can do any better. Congrats! Yes, it does get pretty fast after clocking it, but just think, another 84 points and you would have had your misses cleared away. I remember trying to clock Greenhouse, man that was hard! It just started going so fast as I neared that elusive 999 mark, that I would keep dying just shy of it. No point in supplying more than one high score of the same game, unless one is for Game A and the other is for Game B. It's just one high score per game, per level of difficulty, per person. Mario Bros. is a very difficult game to clock. I'm not even sure if it's possible to clock b/c I tell you, it was going way too fast to get another 76 points for me! You should try Climber. That's a great game, and also extremely difficult to clock! Good luck with your quest to clock every game! AC PS Your high scores on the TT games will probably be there a long time. I don't think many people that collect the games actually play the TTs and Panos a whole lot.

Thanks pablo and aris.. esp U aris, your highscores have been a real challenge to try and break... I thought I would try the MB one but its just very very difficult. !! There was jsut too much to look at and I was loosing track of what was gogin where ! WHy would you collect and not play! I mean thats what it is at the end of it.. a game.. a game to colelct and a game to play ! I really want to push hard and try to clock the TT - I would be confident to say its never been done before ! Based on my exp playnig it and the highscore. Even if I got those extra points - there is no guarentee the misses reset !!!!!! It might .. due to just reaching 300 again.. but like Donkey kong Ive clocked that twice without loosing a life and you dont get any more men than 3 !!!! BAH ! ehehhe
I dont know if I will attempt to go 1300 + Its pretty d**n fast.. - Good calll on only submitting one highscore, keeps it fair, I wasnt sure how that worked.. im happy jsut for one!
Ive got 59 so i would love to try and do all the highscroes but after seeing how hard your score was to beat I think some things just arent my fortay ! - and clocked DK ( orange ) more than 3 times Is pretty d**n hard.. as i said Ive done it twice.. might pull that out tongiht and give it a go!
I didnt want to post MCF TT till i clocked it but it was too hard ! - Id love a showdown im hapyp for you to reclaim that title.. - tonight I think im goign to try for your mickeymouse record I used to be a gun on that !
Thanks again for the kind words - CHEERS !

Hey Mike, I wasnt sure how it worked - some places like twin galaxy allow mulitple highscores for indivudals, Im not a highscore cretin ! ehhe Im cool with just putting down one.. as i said i just wasnt sure how ti all worked but several people have informed me its only 1 ! which is fine !

Yeah, I know how twin galaxies works and they have extensive track of game records but here we only have 3 for each game! Considering also that in someone's quest to beat the top highscore, he will probably achieve scores higher than the rest displayed here, we don't want someone who beats the top highscore of a game to occupy all 3 places in the score board because that's what will happen every time someone tries to beat it!

I'm pretty sure that there are many G&W players around the world who have higher scores than the ones shown here in the highscore table. It's just we don't know about them. Saying that nobody has ever clocked MCF TT or Mario Bros. i think it's being too confident don't you think?

I agree of course, the highscores here have been submitted by collectors visiting this forum. There should be a lot of people who have achieved higher high-scores, it's just that we don't know about them because they don't know that this forum exists!
Btw, I'm sure some high scores in here are probably easy to beat if someone devotes enough time. For instance, I used to play with my friend's popeye tabletop and I can clearly remember clocking the game. It's just that I don't own a popeye tabletop and I don't have lots of free time to try it again!

Hey Pablo and Mike. Of course the high scores listed on this forum are not necessarily the highest in the world. They are only the highest scores by people who: 1) Actually play the games AND 2) Are members of this forum AND 3) Could actually be bothered to submit their high scores I'm sure there are people from all over the world that are not only, not aware of Mike's forum, but also, probably don't even speak English, so, it would be very presumptuous of anyone here to not only think that their high score could not be beat, but also, that Mike's forum is the "Twin Galaxies" of G&W games! Regarding your comment about clocking MB or MCF TT Pablo, keep in mind that I only said that I'm not even sure it (MB) could be clocked, I didn't say it couldn't be clocked. I've never really played the MCF TT, so, I have no opinion on whether or not it could be clocked. All I know is that I've submitted the highest score on the MB game, and am therefore, based on my experience, probably in a better position than most people on this forum (so far) to give an opinion on clocking the game. Besides Roz and myself, it doesn't appear as though anyone else has made it to the 900 point level, so, they haven't experienced the speed the packages are moving at, and how many are coming off the conveyor belts from just about any direction. Even when you move your man to get to them, it's almost as if he can't move fast enough to get to the package! These games can not be played indefinitely! There is a point where either your hands get too sweaty, you get too tired, you need to go to the washroom, the game gets too fast, etc... so, there are limits. To my knowledge, the only high score that I can state with absolute certainty, that can't be beat is the one on Flagman as it doesn't roll over after you hit 99 on either difficulty level (Game A or Game B). So, the best anyone can do is tie that one. That's my two cents worth, AC

Aris, I tried and tried and tried to top your 924 for McfTT best I got was 809... i got to 300 loosing no men a few times and really tried to point press, got to mid 750.. lost a life then jsut pushed nuts uphill .. was just too fast for me!
I couldnt move the man quick enough bloody things came from all directions my eyes were sore from darting across both screeens.. and i also found some lag between button pressing when it seemed the machine couldnt keep up! I would love to see someone clock that.. you would have to say ultimate game player ! its just too fast. I take my hat off to you for going 100+ more than me. Im sure if I oculd have kept my 300+ bonus point advantage beyong 800 - 850 I might have had a chance but in 2 consecutive games I lost 2 men without gaining much more than 40 points... just wayyyyy to fast for me.. so i concur. its territory thats manic.
well done.

Hey Vortex, Well, IMO, it is a very tough score to beat. I think if you play it a little more often, you can beat it, or at least, get very close to the 900 level. Sometimes, getting too far on bonus stage isn't always a good thing. I think, if I recall correctly, some of my higher scores were obtained when my bonus stage lasted only 200 - 300 points. When Roz had the high score, I remember getting to the mid to high 800s, and thinking, wow, how the heck did she get to 917!!! But, then I played one time, and had a fantastic game and voila, I got 924! YES! That lag time is what I was referring to when I was saying it goes so fast that even when you push the buttons to move Mario or Luigi up or down, it often doesn't register, or takes too long to register. Thanks for the compliments! It really is a great game, and one of the high scores I feel rather proud of because of how difficult it was to attain. Don't give up now though. Keep playing, you'll be in the mid to high 800s before you know it! Good luck to you dude! AC PS Just to clarify, you did mean MB MS not MCF TT, right? (especially since I don't own a high score on the MCF TT game). See! You've been playing too much, you don't even know which game is which anymore.... ;D
