If anyone has any problem with the snow script - site seems to be more slow, browser freezes or unable to see falling snow at all - please let me know!
Thanks!

Hey Mike,
As a Firefox user I can see 'skidmarks' where the snow has been.

Hey Michael, the only thing is, that the cursor in the text field is blinking very nervous (Firefox). But otherwise OK with me, as long as you shovel away all that snow from my desk! ;D

I've tested it on IE and Opera and it seems fine. I need the version of your browser Pieter and the same stands for you Patrick..

Hello Mike . My browser generally frezees (IE Build 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.050301-1526) & I can only browse a couple of pages before I have to close IE & start again & I notice that in Task Manager, "iexplorer.exe", is at 99%. Have tried browsing other sites with no problems. Also is the "snow" supposed to fall on the homepage? Best Regards, TBW .

Yes, I disabled it last night.
I suggest you update your version Pieter. Patrick seems to have no real problems with it. I've also changed the code a bit, I've lowered the number of snowflakes and their height span so I hope the situation is a bit better now, let me know.
Btw, I've found another, nicer script but unfortunately it doesn't work in the board..

It might not be related but the last couple of days, clicking on a link in the forum somethimes does nothing. Doesn't even attempt to load the page. I'm wondering if the problm is my end, as I've had problems with ebay as well, although other users have noticed that, and at least with ebay the browser attempts to open the link.
Andy.

As far as I can tell Andy it's not related to the board because nothing has changed since the new version of proboards was installed and it's the first time I read something like that in here.

I don't experience anything you described, Andy. So I agree with Mike that the problem is not board related.
