Not so happy about my points, but it was a really fun contest (with a very exciting finish). Hope there will be more like this one. Congratulations Richard!

Well done you two guys aswell, and thanks Mike and Pieter for organising it, aswell as the prize donors!
Pat and Marcus - i thought your designs were excellent but it was very tough deciding between them and all the others, it literally took me days to decide who i would vote for i felt everyones designs were all equal but just in very different ways
Marcus, i would have liked to have seen a box design for the Winnie the Pooh G&W you did as the game itself looked great!

WOW! That's really surprising.
Congrats Richard.
I think your box looks fantastic. Wouldn't expect that your gamedesign would make so much points.
So I guess your box made the difference.
You must be very happy with your boxed rainshower!
Cheers, Rene

Funny, quite a few people express surprise at the winner, yet 5 out of 18 voted it the best. For me, the box was great, very nintendo looking, but the obviously fake game spoiled it for me. I thought there were 5 strong contenders for the win and that wasn't one of them, purely because of the weak looking game. Congrats anyway, Richard! Oh, and who only gave my design one point?! somebody obviously doesn't like me! It's been great fun and I look forward to the next compo! Andy

Congratulations Richard
People say it is so surprising, but his scores were reasonably consistent, and I guess it depends on what people voted for. Effort, i.e. did they actually make game and box, the look of the design, the most realistic or originality.
I think because the design of a fake game of watch was open ended, which was good because it produced a variety of designs so it was really down to voters preference of what they though constituted to be the best fake game and watch.
I don't think anyone should take away from Richards design or congratulations he deservers.

You are right James, we will all have voted with a different idea of what made each Fake G&W our favourite. That made the competition special as there was a large amount of interpretation of what was expected. Did we expect just a design, an actual mock-up of the game, the whole package? What we got was an excellent range of entries, thank you to all of the entrants for making the competition so good. Also thank you to Pieter and Mike for administering it all and keeping things going. Finally congratulations Richard! What will the next such activity be....... Andrew

Congratulations to all participants!! For a first time effort, the designs were simple amazing! Richard, please email or pm me your mail address so I can send you the games. Brendan, I think I have your address but send it again just to make sure! Both winners should contact James, Baluce and Pieter for the other prizes. One last thing, I think we all considered Jon's entry to be the most humorous one so congrats Jon! Well done everybody! Michael P.S. If any of the contestants wishes to add something in the thread I've created to describe the competition here in the game&watch reviews and articles forum, feel free to do so. Posts in there will be easily accessible in the future.
