Well yes I have somehow managed to find some time to get that old website of mine updated. Check it out here. NOTE: that it's still quite heavily under construction, but I'm working on it. The photos will take the most time (ay Mike ), but check back every so often for an update! It's essentially the same layout as the old site, but I'm adding a little bit more interactivity (not quite as much as Andy's, though ), and a little less of what's not needed, especially seeing as though I only have one game left for the complete 60. ;D In a nutshell I've just updated the look with some groovy javascript functions... Let me know what you think by using the contact page (it's not just a link to your email page ). All comments are more than welcome to help me improve it. Thanks in advance!! pulse8

Hi Pulse8,
Nice that you work on your website. I'd also like that you guys check my website and help me optimizing it!
Well regarding the View page it seems when I click on the G&W pictures that the link doesn't work or maybe it is my browser (IE 6) ?
Cheers,

What you've done so far is cool. I like the different views of the boxes which you have used instead of simple text links. I take it none of the game slideshows work yet? Andy.
p.s. If anyone has a copy of Macromedia flash, adding interactivity like that one my site is MUCH MUCH easier than trying it on an HTML based site.

Yeah thanks Julien. Thus far I haven't uploaded any of the pics because I'm making a small slideshow of my games for each one you click on (don't steal my idea, you crazy cats out there!!! ). Stay tuned for the pics! Oh, and the repairs section :-\ pulse8 P.S. Cheers Andy. Yeah to be honest I got no idea about Flash programming; perhaps I'll save that for "Phase 3"

I think it's better that you clearly state which bits are under construction rather than putting in links that don't do anything (like the slideshow buttons)
How do you get that Andale web counter? It seems that with all 'free' web counters, there's always a catch. With this one it seems that you have to register your ebay details with andale, which I don't want to do.
p.s. Flash programming is a piece of cake. I am not a programmer by any means, in fact, I even struggle with basic HTML, but you can do some pretty good tricks without any coding at all in flash.
Andy.

I've put an "example" slideshow in for the Vermin game. Note that this is an example ONLY at this stage. I need to take better pics, get the file sizes down and for goodness sake update that Vermin box!! In the next day or 3 I will update each page to state whether it is under construction or not, but for now I'm off to bed... pulse8

Very artistic, Innis. I noticed a pic of the box from MM pano. Does this means you have a full 60/60 now or did you "stole" ;D a foto?
Btw, when are visiting?

@innis: Looking good man! You obviously gave the presentation of the pictures a good thought. I really like the style of them.
@andy: Where did you get your Flash creating-program? Did you buy it? I have a counter on my website and there's no catch whatsoever. It works perfectly.

Hi Innis . Looking good, mate !!! Nice work. For me, just a couple of things . The background colour & I see you use tables & cells. Have you thought of using dynamic iframes? Also, had you considered showing your events in full screen? Regards, Damian .

I'm not sure about the little pop-up window for the slideshows. As the whole page is dedicated to showing the slideshows, I think it would be better with a dedicated area just to the left or right of the list, that started the show when you clicked an icon. Obviously as the page is long it would have to follow the viewer. Just a thought. Feel free to ignore me. sAner, We have a copy of Flash 5 at work. I use that. Unfortunately I know of no cheap way of creating flash movies. Macromedia did release a freeware copy of flash 2 but that's very out of date. There may be a later copy that's free, but I haven't seen it. Swish is another program that does the same sort of thing but I don't know enough about it to know whether it can produce a whole website. Google for swish. Andy

René Hi René, No, I haven't got all 60 boxed yet I used the photo with permission I'll be in Amsterdam from Dec 12-15. I hope we can catch up - I'll email you when I get there, or perhaps you can PM me your phone number? Hi Innis . Looking good, mate !!! Nice work. For me, just a couple of things . The background colour & I see you use tables & cells. Have you thought of using dynamic iframes? Also, had you considered showing your events in full screen? Regards, Damian . Thanks Damo, We'll have to get together again and you can show me what you mean, I think. As you can probably tell I'm using frames for the pages to be displayed in, but as for iframes... Chat soon I'm not sure about the little pop-up window for the slideshows. Obviously as the page is long it would have to follow the viewer. Just a thought. Feel free to ignore me. Andy Hmmm yes I was thinking the same thing about displaying the slideshow in a separate area of the page, but when I was looking for the code to do this I thought the pop-up window I have used is good too. I'll keep that idea on the back-burner for the mean time Thanks to all for the other comments! Oh by the way!!!!!!!! People may need to update their banners if they have a link to my site! Cheers pulse8 UPDATE: New banner update and site now viewed better in 1024x768 (oh, and *shudder* 800x600 )
