As I'm getting close to finishing my collection of 60 games, one of my next G&W ventures will be to collect the Japanese versions of paperwork for the games, where applicable. "Where applicable" - this is where I am a little bit stuck. So far I have collected the following information regarding the English/Japanese versions of the games, which many thanks to Ulf (swedengame): EnglishAll games, except YM-901-S (I've heard a viscious rumor that even Green Judge had English instructions in limited quantities, but this is yet to be confirmed) JapaneseAll silvers All Golds All Widescreens, except Egg Multiscreens - OP-51 - DK-52 - DM-53 - GH-54 - JR-55 - MV-56 - PB-59 - BJ-60 - others? All Tabletops (I think) All Panoramas (except MM and DKC, I think ) New Widescreen - Mario Cement - Manhole - others? Both Supercolors Micro vs. (forget about it) Crystal Screen (doubt it) YM-901-S (you bet ) Does anybody else have any other information they can add to this? Thanks in advance! pulse8

Good that I can help Innis!
But you take your time now and finish the 60/60 first before you go after the Japanese paperwork.
I don't need the competition from you now.... Haha! ;D
Cheers, Ulf

The Snoopy TableTop (see below page) indeed has Japanese instructions. Also Cedric has made a tiny mistake in stating the range of Panorama which come with Japanese instructions. MBA Panorama is TB-94 and not PB-94 ;D Cheers

I find it necessary to apologise; not for starting up a semi-successful thread , but for not doing my homework properly. I own this magazine and I didn't even think to check it . So now that I've had a good look at it, I've noticed a couple of interesting points. I think when they were compiling the information for this article they've tried to show Japanese instructions wherever they can (apart from the obvious Egg), but had trouble with some, such as Fire (which I now have ;D). DK-52 is another one shown in English, interestingly, as well as Lion. I think Mario Bros also came with Japanese paperwork but is rare, so no real surprises there, and the same for Blackjack. Was Popeye TT a Jap release also? Surely the most interesting one for me, though, was that they show a Japanese edition of DK3! Does this mean all Micro vs. games could have been released with Japanese instructions? I love learning new info - it's one of the things that keeps me going ;D pulse8

Unfortunately Popeye TT has NO Japanese instruction. I believe DK3 is the only Micro Vs with Japanese instruction. May I the one who spotted it first Cheers *** EDITED *** Just received news from Cedric that Boxing comes with Japanese instruction. Will this imply ALL Micro Vs systems were released in Japan? Stay tune ;D

There are some variations in the Japanese boxes also. I've got a Japanese BX-301 box where the only difference is that it says 'Not for sale outside Japan' on the back. See: www.intheattic.co.uk/boxing.htmCheers, Torsten

Yes, Pinball is one where I will buy the box as well. I look at it as being the equivalent of green Judge as they were both "Jap only" designs. pulse8
