Thank you all for your warm welcomes, I hope other new collectors will post here as well.
I still haven't had time to look at everyones collections and websites yet, hopefully I will get some more time over Christmas, but what I have seen so far has been very impressive.

Hi All, Let me introduce myself. I’m René Smits (ebay ID: rensmits) from Amsterdam, 38 years old (don’t tell me I’m the oldest one on the forum), married and I have two daughters. I’ve been collecting G&W’s for a long time now and the quest has almost come to an end. At this moment I have 55/60 and 40 of them are boxed. The games I need are: Flagman, judge, mickey pano, bf crystal and the 901. I’ve been watching this forum for a long time now and finally decided to join. I would like to complement Michael with this great forum and a fantastic FAQ, wich has been very usefull from time to time. With some of you, I already done some business and maybe we will be trading in the future. Have fun collecting and if you see the 5 games, I still need on ebay in the future, think “René” and stop bidding. May the force be with you all! René Smits

Hi René,
welcome!
Already at 55/40  Well done! Looking forward to see some pics here. Why didn't join the forum earlier?

Hai Mattijs,
3 reasons why I didn't join the forum earlier.
1. Never saw any reasons for joining the forum. But the last few months I started to visit the forum more frequently and saw (and felt?) that the people of the forum had more fun with their hobby, when they could share their findings etc.
2. I had a deal with a seller from Sweden on Ebay and he didn't react when I won the auction. Innis (pulse8) was in the same position (see another topic on the forum) as I. But Innis came in contact with the seller, with the help from Swedengame. Now it seems that the games are coming our way.
3. Maybe I can finish my collection with help from the forummembers.
René

Hi Rene and welcome to the board! Congratulations on your collection too! I think we've made a deal some time ago, or not ? Anyway, I see that you're missing the items that most people miss so good luck! It just need a bit of perseverance, nothing else! Let me know if you'd like to join the collectors' list and if you'd like to show us your collection, please use the collections forum (if you need instructions on how you can do it, let me know!).
Thanks for your kind words about the board and my faq!
Michael

Thanks Michael, and yes we made a deal a couple of months ago. Only a batterycover though. I will upload some pictures of my collection in the near future.

I'm not that active as a collector, but since I love them G&W's and since I browse through this forum plus a handfull of your home pages every now and then I felt I might as well register and introduce myself. My name is Marcus, I'm 29 (going on 30) and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I have been (more or less) collecting Game & Watches for about 2, 5 years now, but as I've already mentioned I'm not that active so my collection is still very modest (I'll post some pictures in that part of the forum). I also got a lot of other video games and v.g.related stuff. And an arcade cabinet, not to forget. 30 going on 13? I probably won't post much, but I'll login now and then and post when I feel I can contribute in some way.

I am a new collector as well from Australia.... Got started after reading the G&W article in Retro Gamer. How wrong is that price guide!! Didn't realise that there were so much more than wide screens and multi-screens. Didn't get to play them when I was little (was into the C64 and then the Amiga at the time) so I'm making up for lost time now. ...If I had read the EBAY watch article first maybe I would have thought twice about it - the one where jonwiththewind didn't win the Mickey Mouse Pano Boxed because it didn't meet the reserve. ... But having had a chance to play them so glad I did. It's like riding a bike. You never forget.
