You can submit donkey kong photos in here. As we discussed, the game should be in front of a recognizable monument or place. It would be best if you mentioned the place or area for everybody when submitting your photo! Some guidelines: - Closed or open game doesn't matter, whatever suits you best. We'd prefer photos of both so that we can sort out what's best in the end. - Please avoid fingers, faces, people in your photos as much as possible. The game should be the main focus of the photos. - Resolution doesn't matter but please keep the original photo in as high resolution as possible in case we need it in the future for whatever purpose! - -

Very nice, indeed. I'll just allow myself a comment : when you have water on a picture, it "should" always be horizontal, otherwise it looks like the water is flowing outside of the pic. I know that on the other hand, you told you "give a chance to your imagination", but that stupid old rule about the water still follows me ;D
But anyway, a big thanks to Mazlee for the images. It's a cool place, very representative for the project.

Well, we can always rotate the photos in the final album.. Another photo from pheldge in front of the Atomium in Brussels, Belgium Seeing all the photos together really makes this something special, doesn't it? Michael

Thanks! it was a pleasure taking the usual touristical Paris tour on a sunny day :-)
Just a bit difficult sometime to find a spot to take the picture without having people asking questions ;-)

I've been thinking the same when I did the picss at the Atomium. I was wondering "Well, if someone asks me what I'm doing, what's this old piece of plastic I'm shooting, what will I answer ?"
But nobody asked ;D

Hi I went to Berlin (Germany) last weekend. Of course my DK-52 did travel with me (although I almost forgot about it...). I always took two pictures. One with the DK-52 and one without it. I did try to hold the position as good as possible for both pics. This way it was more easy to remove arm and fingers with Photoshop. That's all I did with PS, except for some minor "cosmetic changes" and the pic of the Reichstag. There I had to remove the fence and its shadows. But nevertheless, the pics are real. Enjoy! - Patrick Brandenburger Tor (gate of Brandenburg) Reichstag (parliament building) Gedächtniskirche (memorial church) Fernsehturm (media tower) And here the original pictures (to show you the DK-52 really was there :-) )

Great photos Patrick! I see that the weather was beautiful so you must have enjoyed your journey! I think these photos are more close to the ones shown in Amelie with the gnome!

Thanks Michael. Yes, we (my girlfriend Andrea and me) for sure did enjoy our stay. We stayed with friends of us who live there and they said, that they had bad weather for weeks. The weekend we were there was the first nice one. :-)

Pieter and I visited the Lake District in England, with our families, back in June. Pieter brought his Donkey Kong so that we could add to this thread. Here are the 2 best pictures. Sorry that they are not from an internationally recognised spot but we prefer the countryside to the cities! Andy
