I'm not sure under which subforum I should ask, so... those Russian game and watch copies, you've seen them. But I've never seen an Egg version before, I grabbed it, but does it has any value, at all? I put it out on ebay but no interest so far, is it truly just junk?

No of course not, I'm not implying you Michael, I wish the guilty one would confess, cause anyone can just click a lot of times. I've dealt with... 4 people here, mxs, john in netherlands, jon in sweden and the guy in Japan, all 4 can testify to great trades/deals, I haven't dealt with anyone else so it angers me someone for "fun" have clicked around. Or do you mean one person can only bless or condemn once? So 16 people have clicked for fun "condemn" on me? What a great forum... I wish you had a proper feedback system so you can actually see positive/negative remarks and who's given them.

So it's been there for months, ok, I've been in here very lately, and haven't noticed it. The Oil Panic? You're the Danish guy? I took a pic of the whole parcel, the Danish postal service screwed up, if it's that you're referring to. Please lmk what exactly you're referring to otherwise, sort that up please.
Second, you don't know me, I'm a lifelong collector of various items, not too many game&watch, but a few I have kept, I do buy and sell yes, to afford my collecting (which mostly consists of autographs). I'm probably the most honest seller on ebay too when it comes to descriptions, as most anyone else lies. As for contributing to the forum, not by word no, but yes I have actually, to other collectors. The YM-901 I bought from Japan ended up with a friend of mine (BIG collector) and he loves it to death, made zero profit on it. The games I bought from John in Netherlands, Popeye tabletop ended up with MXS, made minus profit on it, a panorama I bought from Jon became a gift to another collecting friend. So don't sit there and assume I'm a shark, I've paid collectors here, traded with them, given away things, you're making assumptions from ebay etc. It's no secret I buy and sell, considering I'm living on a small government disability money and couldn't afford crap of any sort collecting otherwise I don't consider it a crime.
As for feedback, I've never encountered such a non-serious and unprofessional system before. I'm one of the best ebaysellers, always honest in my dealings, and yet people here give me minues cause I'm not a diehard collector. It disappoints me none of the people I've dealt with don't stand up for me. Guess it teaches me something about the game&watch community. You should be glad there's someone out there who sells games with correct descriptions, as 9 out of 10 games I've bought on auctions so far has been either quite worse then said, or incredibly worse/non-working.
I'm always up for trading, and when I trade, big odds is the games will end up with one of you guys. hardly ever I get response on trading though, so I end up selling.
And lastly, asking about values, or if a member is trustworthy, is very normal standard questions in any other hobby community, it's very strange it's not accepted here.

I can just add btw, that some members here, I won't mention names, sell at various sites that isn't very visible (like ebay is), but I don't see their names trashed...

Thanks to whoever blessed me. I asked Jon and Magnus (mxs) if they've given me bad karma, I didn't think so but just to make sure. I've tried to translate a bit what they've replied, so people here get some other image of me:
Jon: "I only got positive experiences to say about you so I don't mind given you a bit of karma and support. What you do with the games once you've bought them is up to you. I don't think people at the forum should mind about that. If they've done a deal they've agreed on they are presumably happy with it. I know what you mean about buying and selling for a hobby, I've done it myself for 4 years now. Like you I have it as hobby-organisation and declare for it."
MXS: "I think some can be annoyed if you're in it only to earn money. I don't think you are, I know that since we've dealt with eachother. I think it's a matter of jealosy when bad talk is brought up, that's the experience I got anyway, both in this world and real life. I got nothing against you, keep doing your bargains and sell higher, that's how you build a collection if you're not a millionaire."
I'll also post pics of my real collections today or tomorrow so you can see what my main collecting is, imo a collector is a collector, regardless of what we collect, and all collectors are the same.

Linda, I have purchased a few games off you with no problems except the the problem with the missing Oil Panic. A member posted for everone to look out for his missing/stolen game and posted the serial number, the problem was I had the game in my hands at the time, just bought from you for a bin price higher than what the original auction ended at. So I can understand why some people would be pissed off that you didn't offer the game back to the original buyer at the original auction price rather than selling it to me for a better price. You must admit it looked a little dodgy! I'm sure everyone will get over it and I haven't had a problem with buying games from you, 3 in the last 3 months - i think.
Cheers qixsix opeth_shane

Ok I get it, people assumed this scenario, which probably are common with dishonest sellers: You put out a game/item for sale, aren't happy with the endprice, pretend it goes missing, refund the buyer, put it out again at a price you want instead.
That's not what happened. Game never arrived, he got a refund, and *I* insisted on he would put it up here as stolen/missing, with the serial nr, I was quite upset and assumed it was stolen. After a small eternity, it bumped down in my mailbox, with a horseload of stuff on it, stamps, notes, etc, from the Danish postal service. I took a photo of it and sent him, we were both reliefed none of us had tricked the other and joked about mailmen's incompetence. I expected him right away to say "send it again, I'll re-pay" which I naturally would have done. He didn't, so I said I'll put it up for sale again, he seemed fine with that, never objected, and that's how it went and we were both happy. Think I got both photo and all correspondence with him saved as proof, since I'm so lazy to delete old emails.
I don't know if it's slander or misunderstanding that has been spread here, but it's scary how your reputation can go bad from misinformation. You all just assume things without knowing the truth.

What a great forum... I wish you had a proper feedback system so you can actually see positive/negative remarks and who's given them. What do you mean "what a great forum"? If you don't like it, you can always leave. Nobody is forcing you to visit. What feedback system are you referring to? Most forums don't have one unless they were created for the purpose of buying and selling stuff and this isn't one of them. We're here mainly to discuss our hobby, and you've done nothing of the sort so far except the usual "how much would this and that cost" etc. Karma system always works the same way - in each and every forum it's been installed into. No user can see who gave him a positive or negative mark. You're the first user that this has ever happened to and it's probably something you said or caused because everyone in here is a collector and they don't just login to smite someone in order to pass their time.. Sigh... I've never encountered a karma system before, only feedback syste, where no one is hiding who's giving the feedback (since otherwise people can pile up good feedbacks and give a false impression). Like this forum: www.hobbyinsider.net/forum/search.php?searchid=686763As you see I've done lots of trades, then you can click on me and see my feedback. Feedback system is mainly there for trading purposes so you know you trade with a reliable person. I thought most hobby forums were meant for trading...

Oh... this is just too much. You're real good at jumping to conclusions, couldn't at least one of you had emailed me about that thread so I could have defended myself?. 1) I've never seen this thread, wasn't aware of it, he didn't tell me about it, never saw it period. I knew he would post it as stolen at the forum but never saw it. I obviously had said something otherwise. 2) I refunded cause he started a dispute early with Paypal so it's not correct that I refunded without questions asked. I had No inhention to gives a refund otherwise as he did NOT pay for tracking and I suspected he was lying to me (as many buyers do unfortunately)!!! He paid for regular shipping but he was quick starting a dispute. Something I've stopped with btw, not offering regular shipping anymore cause everytime I ship without tracking either the postal service screws up or the buyer "claims" it goes missing, happens 50% of the time. 3) He never said he wanted it again, which I expected, I just assumed he dropped it so I put it on again for sale, which I eventually told him, he didn't object. This might be a misunderstanding and mishandling on my part, if so I really apologise (to him). 4) And sadly for you lot, I got some of the ebay pm's and emails saved, photo of the returned parcel (as you can see it's the same address as his paypal address). Considering how crazy some of you seem to be I bet you think "oh she sat up all night forging the emails" here is printscreens of the paypal payment, note on one of the picks it says "buyer dispute". Lastly, opinions on collecting etc, it's a free worl, you think what you think, imo and many others all collectors of everything is a big family, and yes I do got more than one game, I've showed Markus, I don't care much to show you anything more now. But I do care about defending my innocence in the Oil panic issue. Ebay pm: "No one shouldn´t think it would be a problem, when it´s only between Sweeden and Denmark. The adress is the paypal-adress yes - Kim Sørensen Christiansvænget 23, st. 5000 Odense, Denmark. Haven´t had any problems with it in regards to my other purchases on Ebay. And yes it is I who wrote on the forum. Best wishes Kim" Ebay pm: "Hi Thanks for the speedy response. It wasn´t my intention to make any big deal out of it. I´m just new to this whole Ebay-thing and thought it was the way you dealt with these problems. So I hope I haven´t caused any troubles? And yes it would be an excellent idea to post a report on the forum - I´ll post one tomorrow. And if the game should show up in my post I´ll ofcourse contact you immediately so you can get your money. Thanks again for refund and, as said, I didn´t go through PayPal to stir up any trouble. Best Wishes Kim" Email: "-----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Sendt: ti 07-04-2009 18:04 Til: Kim Sinkbæk Sørensen Emne: Oil panic pics! Hey there, sorry for delay, it's hectic before Easter. Can you make sense of this? I tore off the note too so you can see if I've written your address correctly (have I?) Regards, Linda" Email: "Hi The address is spot on! Strange thing is that I was home in that period, because I was writing a termpaper. Furthermore I recieved other packages in the same period - including another game i bought. So I think what happened is that the mailman, who where supposed to deliver the package, forgot (or just didn´t bother) to bring it, when he went out on his route. Then rather than going through the "hassle" of re-delivering the package he just left it for pick up at the post-office....obviously without letting me know that it was at the post-office... Either way I never got the package or any notice that it was ready for pick up... It´s a shame because I really was looking forward to including the game in my collection :/ But....what you gonna do Best wishes Kim"
