It's 100% off topic and we have gone 100% off the off topic subject!!!! Back to the off topic subject of football. I'm looking forward to the final, generally when teams that were not expected to be in the final get there, it means goals. I'd like to see Holland win, but I think the C/REPUBLIC will be tough to beat, they are on fire! A bit like this thread ;D ;D

Thought this 100% off topic, was off G&Ws.
OK back to topic....
Anyway...Go Holland!
Predictions:
1) Holland vs Portugal > Holland on penalty 2) Czech vs Greece > Czech 3-0
Final: Holland vs Czech > 90min draw : Holland on penalties

Hahahaha! ;D Well, that would be something ... The Dutch squad always lost on penalties and you predict that they will win two more times on penalties ... I know for almost 100% sure that the Czech Rep. will win this tournament. They are so good. I think it would also be 100% justice if they win the tournament. They play superior (Baros is awesome). Then again: Holland was leading 2-0 in the group game and it was not until that strange change in the team was made (Robben out) until they lost 2-3. They could win in the final. The problem is that I don't see them win the semi final tomorrow. Portugal has some superb players and besides that they are playing at home. 90% of the suporters will cheer for them ... Well, let's wait and see. sAner

Yes, but don't forget this Pieter, the portugese team is not playing very well. If they didn't were so lucky against England.....they wouldn't be playing against us at all. If England can score two goals.................hmm we'll see
WE HAVE RUUD!!!

Yes, that's true and I am very happy for that but Ruud can't do it all on his own. The wing-players will have to bring him good balls and superb passes. When thingy advocaat leaves Van der Meyde out and puts Overmars in the team instead, we may have a chance. He could also opt to bring Makaay as an extra striker. I think Holland needs to play much more offensive then they did against Sweden. I think they played with the handbrake on. Cheers, sAner NOTE-HAHAHA! I wrote thingy Advcaat (Can't help it, that's the man's name!) and now it says "thingy" Advocaat! LACHU!

sAner,
Unfortunately it cant be said that they always lose on penalties since they did (change of luck) win agianst Swedes in penalty.
Stranger things have happened. Look at Beckhams' miss.

Anyway, what could e-bay do??? This guy can make hundreds of hotmail-accounts and come up with lot's of fake usernames. Or would they block certain IP-numbers? Well, people will keep stealing even after we catch some of them, why don't we let them all go ? Anyway, back to the off-topic subject (!), I predict that the final will be between the Dutch and the Czechs and I also predict a draw in that match. I don't know who will win this but I think, statistically, Holland has a chance to finally win the Czechs!! Michael

sAner,
Unfortunately i do sometimes, and did so for the '98 World Cup (if that is correct year).
It must have been the same for you all in Europe when the last world cup was in Korea / Japan.
Well hope tonight's game is more interesting than some others so far.

So far it's been the Under-Achievers' League, rather than a real Euro Cup.

I disagree with you on that point ... Sure, some countries could have done better but it's not a weak tournament just because Italy, Spain, Germany and France were out very soon. Those countries were just weak ... I think other countries are taking over. Greece and especially the Czech rep. are doing EXTREMELY well. People have to realise that people in Greece or Eastern Europe can play very well too. The times that the big soccer countries like Italy and Germany ruled the world has been long gone. You could see it in 2002, Turkey and South Korea played superattractive soccer and came to a 3rd and a 4thplace. It's too simple to say that the tournament is weak just because some "big" countries are weak. Others just took their place. Germany is a goner, the Czechs have taken their place. simple as that.
