It has taken MOST of today to list 4 "bulk lots" of videos, and I just had to tell SOMEBODY. I am disheartened and pissed off, because it's taken so long - my brain hurts, and I'm not going to make tuppence on them.. stores.ebay.co.uk/Jonwiththewinds-Retro-Shop_VHS-bulk-lot_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkmHas anyone else had an appalling experience of taking ages to list something, with no "job satisfaction" at the end of it I think I'll stick to G&W ;D

Jon, you should have taken them down to your local 'cash converters'. They probably would have given you 20p each, or something, for them, which is a lot more than you are likely to get on ebay! After all, 17 vids is going to cost more to post in the UK than they are worth! I doubt you'll get a single bid!
Andy.

JK, I've just checked what it would cost for me to send a 7kg parcel to the UK (take a seat before reading on). Sea Mail - AU$67.00 (cheapest option) Economy Air - AU$112.50 (economical!) Air Mail - AU$146.50 There are two other options (which are more expensive! ), if you really want. Have a garage sale, I say! pulse8

I think you're (all) right!
Ebay is ideal for selling "light" stuff or (genuinely) rare & unusual stuff, not these bog standard items.
I don't think we have a cash converters in Bodmin (!) but I'll check out the yellow pages anyway. ;D
On an (unrelated) topic, I usually just delete these *obviously* scam emails from Nigeria, but this one is SO funny that I had to post it here:
St. Vincent de Paul, Ozaman House, 11 celestial Avenue, Agidingbi, Lagos.

St. Vincent de Paul, Ozaman House, 11 celestial Avenue, Agidingbi, Lagos. This is interesting. I work in fire protection, and one of our clients is St. Vincent de Paul. They also have an Ozanam House (179 Flemington Rd, Nth. Melbourne), but the people who reside in this "house" are, how do you say... bums? They're just a bunch of homeless drug addicts on the dole and are "cared for" by people who probably have been through rehab a number of times, themselves, throughout their life. The "inmates", as I like to call them, sit on the couches or in their bedrooms all day watching TV and smoking cigarettes. Hardly the type to be fasting and praying! ;D Nonetheless, God bless 'em and God bless you, Jon! pulse8

Is this for real ? Btw Innis you can double post next day.. Michael It's for real alright. I see that this is the first thing the buyer has bought in his 7 months as an eBay member, and I bet he doesn't give two hoots whether he gets feedback or not ;D I'm obviously still a little unsure of the double posting rule. I'll go back and read the rule book pulse8
