I remember it snowed in Athens once . It was a few years ago and it was a lot. There was a big picture in the newspaper and it was also on TV....

Err.. contrary to what you believe, it snows every winter here! It's just that it's seldom so much to build up on roofs etc. 3 years ago it snowed so much that all stores were closed and noone would leave their house! Yes, it was amazing.. :biggrin:

Hi all, It is now -20 celcius here in Finland and but only 5cm of snow It is not so very cold yet, but I remember one christmas when it was -45 celsius and it took 8 hours to warm up my old Honda Civic Last winter here was over 1 meter of snow BTW... Are you for real Mike?!!? Are you living high in the the mountains or something? No, in fact I live near half a km from the sea (so I'd say I live near the seashore). People who live in the northern suburbs of Athens see falling snow very often (a couple of days ago actually snowed there!). Michael

Yep, it's Christmas eve now in Holland.
My girlfriend is preparing dinner - I am hungry :laugh:
