We don't see that many, luckily, so it would be a pretty empty thread! I've been trying to think where we discussed this game before. Probably in the 'rare items' thread!

OK, I know what you're thinking. Jonboy only turns up to the forum when he's selling, and OK, you're probably right! I have been busier than ever with the launch of my new business (unconnected to G&W), but I have just listed a few games to ease the cashflow! (well, hopefully). Couldn't help reading the following in Blueices post: What gives? I, too, have been approached to see if I would like to do an "exchange" for one of my games in return for some f**k**g brake-pads. To be honest, it quite appealed to my surreal sense of humour (I honestly thought it was a joke). So what's the story? Has anyone exchanged a vintage electronic toy for an incredibly specific item of bike hardware??? ! LOL (I don't suppose so). I would be interested to know what the hell is going on though. Nice to be back, btw. Love n peace to the G&W massive.

Sorry, it was my bad humor there for a moment, jonwiththewind. Was just trying to make a point of these guys making fakes (like the "Helmet supercolor") shouldn't do so with more life dependent things.

HI Blueice, You know what? I'm even MORE confused now than I was before. Are you saying your reference to "brake pads" was a total coincidence?? Just so that we're clear (and so you know what I'm talking about): I was recently offered the "opportunity" to exchange one of the games I am currently selling, for a set of disc brakes for a bicycle. (The guy wrote: i haven't game but a brand new pair of disc brake "Formula Oro Puro", quoted on ebay at 350 euro). If you haven't been offered this "deal" then we are dealing with a mind-blowing coincidence. I assumed that I wasn't the first to be offered this barmy deal. What are the chances?? Unless YOU (Blueice) are the person who offered the deal, but that doesn't seem very likely. Perhaps someone else can offer an explanation?

jonwiththewind, I swear, that was a coincidence! I now understand your reaction. I will not make cheap points so often anymore. (I hope) It just leads to misunderstandings And for the record: I'm NOT the one trading with brakepads. I need the one pair I have on my bicycle myself. Edit: Some of the typos corrected.

Well, I don't know what anyone else thinks - but this has got to go down as one the all time great coincidences!! Thanks for confirming that I'm not insane. ;D Phew, I thought I was losing it... (wibble). (wibble = reference to "Blackadder", for all our non-UK friends). www.suslik.org/Humour/FilmOrTV/BlackAdder/misc.html(search for "wibble").

Long time no see Jon and as usually you have a nice story to share! Btw, brake pads ? 350 euros ? Wow, not even the pads used on my car cost that much (both front and rear!). Michael

I've paid my mountain bike half the price of those gold plated brake pads ;D

I definitely won't be giving the guy a hard time, now. He's just purchased one of the games I was selling using B.I.N. !! For what it's worth, I think the offer was a genuine one. Mad (because I don't own a bike), but genuine. Give's me an idea, though. How about a gold-plated G&W game? I know we have the "gold" series already, but a completely gold-plated Donkey Kong would be something to behold... ;D

No, someone just added the coloured background behind the lcd screen. The first coloured backgrounds appeared with the gold games (manhole, lion, helmet).
