Hey Paul, Congratulations on attaining the 4/4 status . As always, you are the king/master of collections ;D Damo Yeah, they look very nice all grouped together like that Paul, and you're right, not only has no one ever taken a pic of the NOA PO and NOA DKH together like that, no one has ever taken a pic of all four of those NOA games together like that either! As for Damo's comment, I think it's more like 4/5 NOA status. I mean, why would they make NOA versions of PO & DKH, but not DK3??? Surely it must be out there.... We just haven't seen it yet! AC

It's like PS CHEF, why didn't they make that? Or did they? There are lots of odd things and questions that require anwers. And why stop at 5 for that matter, on that basis there could have been 12 pimped NOA games, we just haven't seen them yet!!!?

And why stop at 5 for that matter, on that basis there could have been 12 pimped NOA games, we just haven't seen them yet!!!? Yes Paul, there are indeed a lot of unknowns when it comes to PS and NOA games. Though, I'd go the opposite way. I think we should assume there are PS and NOA games for all of the games, other than the ones we know don't exist for sure. (e.g. BS, Squish, GC, SB, Zelda, etc...) I would put Egg in his category too, since it wasn't released in North America. So, Chef and TB should have PS boxes somewhere out there too, we just haven't seen them yet! What I don't understand is why DKJR, MCF and MH all have PS boxes, but TF, Climber, SMB, BF and MTJ don't. I guess the last PS game box made must have been Black Jack - Feb 15th 1985. So, perhaps after this date, no more PS boxes were produced, which means, Tropical Fish (July 1985), Squish (April 1986), Bombsweeper ( June 1987), Safebuster (Jan 1988), Super Mario Bros., Climber & Balloon Fight (March 1988), Goldcliff (Oct 1988), Zelda (Aug 1989) and Mario The Juggler (Oct 1991) all missed the "PS boat"! Even the MVS and SC series of games were produced/released in 1984, so, that Feb 15 1985 could mean something..... AC

Yes Aris, it was the year Nintendo stopped creating game&watch games. All the games after that were created by another company with Nintendo's endorsement.. Nintendo focused on the gameboy after that. Can't remember the name of the company though.
Paul, congrats once more on your collection. I suppose you will always be the envy of most (if not all) collectors in here! About the photo, how could there have been one with the two micro vs. together? Does anybody else own a noa dk hockey? ;D

I'm sure he will have some info on it, or at the very least a hunch on what happen. He is our resident police officer on here afterall, although he always claims not to be the fuzz!!! ;D

It sold for $5 because the seller put in those stupid restrictions that wouldn't let either of us bid on it! We both thought the winner was Taki b/c it was userid gameandtime that won it, but, it was later pointed out that "gameandtime" was not Taki, but was in fact Matt (electronichandhelds). I remember it being listed along with his other rare items, and priced similarly too. ( ;D) and then it was gone. Can't say I know who won it, but, given the price it was listed at, you can kinda narrow down the potential buyers since most collectors here don't have more than $1000 USD to drop on such games. And with you out of the equation Paul, I can only think of maybe 3 or 4 possibilities. Anyway, not that I expect him to tell me who he sold it to, but, it never hurts to ask. I mean, at the very worst, he tells me to take a flying leap!!! I'll report back with the info. as soon as Paul reports back with the info. he's supposed to report back with.... BTW Paul, I don't think I have the serial number for your NOA DKH (as well as all your other PS/NOA games) so, if you are going to look up that OEM SMB one, maybe you can treat me to a few more mate! ;D AC out

So, do we know for a fact that another one exists? Michael Absolutely! Remember the auction only showed the back of the game box? Well, I don't know if you actually saw the auction, but, that's what caught my eye about it, it looked different, so, I sent an e-mail to Paul with the link and asked him if the back of his NOA DKH looked like "this". He recognized it right away as being an NOA DKH! AC

So, do we know for a fact that another one exists? Michael Of course we do! Not only did we all see the $5 auction, but then the very same game was listed on the buyer's shop for several months, before disappearing. I wonder about your memory recently, Mike I was just casually curious about it's current whereabouts, no need to launch an investigation! Andy
