Hi All Just uploaded some VERY detailed pics of all my boxes. Just for show, and also in case anyone's interested in buying any. There's 2 photos for each boxed game, a front and back picture. The filenames should be obvious. Click HereThe pictures are quite large, bigger than your screen resolution, and most are between 100-200K each, so broadband preferred! Andy.

Juct checking through my games contents again and I re-noticed that my PG-92 and CJ-93 are foreign distributors versions. You can see the sticker on the box, and there is also an extra set of instructions in the box. I have a feeling they are sither Swedish or Dutch, I'm not sure. Can anyone translate this:
KONTROLKNAPPEN Junior kravler op ad lian. Junior kaster kokosnodder.
I can't remember where I bought them from, I could look through my e-mail archives...
Andy.

Here is my latest addition ;D Some of you may recall that the auction didn't include a photo of the front of the box. It was a gamble but a pretty good result. A small tear and crease, nothing major. Probably about right for the price. The jury's still out on whether it's worth the money, but I've always said I wanted at least 1. I'll keep on looking out for the cheapies, though Andy

It looks great to me Andy!! It could also have had non-removable price-tags on the front and God knows what else. Luckily it didn't have such thing.
And, how do you feel now? Is it what you expected of owning a ps?

And, how do you feel now? Is it what you expected of owning a ps? sAner Hmm, well, I don't know. I expected to feel some sense of awe when I held it in my hands. I don't, though. It's really nice artwork, though, I think all the 3 book-style multiscreens have the best PS artwork. I have had proper prints of the 3 done for ages (from flash-based drawings I did) which I keep meaning to get framed. Perhaps when I do that, and I can look at them every day, I might end up selling this! Andy.

Well, it's still a cardboard-box.
I would love to add some ps-boxed to my collection, but not for the prices they are going on ebay. Only for the normal price + (lets say) 30 or 40 %.
But that's my opinion.

Hmm.. you mean you would pay like $150 for a ps fire attack right ? Considering that only two (I think) are currently known to exist, what you're saying is unreal. And what if it is just a cardboard box ? Paintings are just paint on a canvas and they're still worth thousands of euros!

I can see from both points of view. If you really want a PS fire attack that badly, you've either got to be very lucky or pay thousands. For some, the desire does not outweigh the common-sense. So, what Rene is saying is he likes them but isn't mad enough to pay the market prices. Same here really. I'm sure everyone who collects G&W would LIKE one but what percentage of collectors could afford to and want to pay $2000 or one? Less than 5% easily. Even at the other end of the scale, say my mario bros, it's not the cheapest PS you can get but even then, personally, I still think it's a lot of money for what it is. I could make my own box now and get just as much satisfaction from looking at the fake as the real one. (Calm down, Mike, I won't! ;D ) So, there's no 'real' and 'unreal' prices, just what people are willing to pay. Those who are willing to pay less need to keep an eye out for the silly BIN's Andy

Spot on, Andy!
I know rarity has its price and maybe I would think differently if the game and the contents weren't the same. That's my point. You only pay big bucks for a box. A very nice box, but still a (very small) box.
On the other hand, maybe I'm not the collector that wants to have everything from the game and watch series, nomatter what it may cost. Guys like Michael, Paul, Torsten etc. like to be as complete as possible. My limit of spending (wanting to spend) is just not the same as somebody elses.

Rene, I had the patience to pay "reasonable" amounts for all my items, except perhaps my boxed flagman which cost me around $1100. I got all my pocketsize games for amounts lower or a lot lower than $500 and all others (blister, carded, etc.) for at least half of that. I wouldn't pay the amounts these items reach nowadays, that's for sure!
But saying that you would like to get pocketsize games for the price of regular items plus a 30% is unrealistic and there's no reason to hope that this will change in the near future. That's what I wanted to comment.

René Hey Rene, I'm one of those guys that like to be (somewhat) complete too! M&D PS and Parachute PS cost me $28XX incl. insurance/S&H while the M&D game screen is messed up so I've gotta get a replacement game! They're both PRETTY RARE and esp in those condition! Since my collection is almost complete and most of my games are NMIB or NIB, I'm mainly collecting flyers, shipping boxes, PS, upgrading and trying to finish off the collection now! (That's what I think of what most collectors do too when you're 9X% complete of 60/60!) Andy-it's good to see that Mario Bros. PS as it's finally arrived! I'm still looking to upgrade mine sometime in the future Kevin
