I am expecting another game to arrive, which is even rarer...stay tuned! BTW, all my other games (other than pocketsize) are sold. @pieter: For the YM-901-database: My boxed YM-901-s is in Spain now, f-navarro has it. (Fransisco Navarro).

Hey, Mattijs, did you have to pay import duty/tax? That would have been the final insult after the shill bidder cost you C$300.
Still, like you said, once it's in your hands, it all seems worth it, after all, it's only money, you'll have some more on payday, but you may never see one of these again.
Andy.

Hey Mattijs, VERY NICE PS collection INDEED!! I'm probably the LAST person here with a pretty nice G&W/PS collection to SHOWCASE LAST as many of us have the same PS items yet I think I have the most multiples of 3 DK II and 2 DK Jr. along with others so it's somewhat different from everyone else's G&W/PS Collection hehe... Kevin P.S. Now I can only wonder what you'll amaze us with after Paul's DKH and how much will you pay for that if another shows up?!

Hi Andy, there was no import tax. I have spoken with the seller and told him to mark as a gift with a 50$ value. All went well. The seller is truly a very nice and honest guy. I really doubt it was shill bidding after all. Just another dude who messed up the auction. I won't pursue it. I got a nice written letter with the package. He bought the games when he was a toy store manager. It had been stored safe and sound for more than 15 years. His kids will have a good christmas....and that makes me feel good I hope we will never see one again P.S. Now I can only wonder what you'll amaze us with after Paul's DKH and how much will you pay for that if another shows up?! I can tell you this already Kevin: Paul doesn't have it. Mattijs

Nope, no insurance...Is this stupid? No really, If I wanted to insure it, it cost me a lot! On top of that 19% import tax. If it was insured, customs agents will check for the insured amount. It would have made the total way over 3000 c$. Al kinds of doom scenarios crossed my mind. Images of shredded packages, ripped boxes etc. were constantly present in my mind, especially the last days. But I have fait in the postal service. Never did anything go wrong sofar -KNOCK ON WOOD- It is a risk....... Mattijs

Yes, it is stupid!! :withstupid:
When I was waiting for my YM-901 (insured but WAY under-insured) I cursed myself for not fully insuring it as I was sure it had gone missing, it had taken more than 3 times as long as a package had ever taken to arrive. I vowed never to under-insure or send without insurance again. It turned up in the end  but can you imagine how sick you would feel if the fire-attack went missing? It doesn't bear thinking about.
Andy.
