The voting:Mike's quote below says it all and I now say 'GO!' ;D Voting will start as soon as Pieter lists the designs and says go. Every person who wishes to vote for the designs should send to BOTH OF US (Pieter and me) a personal message OR email, his preferences. This is very easy to do and you only have to send one message, just write "saner, admin" (without the quotes) inside the recipient box of your private message. Please, DON'T POST any votes in the forum, they won't be counted!! If you still have any queries, ask me or Pieter. Michael Remember voting is eurovision songcontest-style. This means the following: 10 points for the best design 8 points for second best 6 points for third best 5 points for fourth best 4 points for fifth best 3 points for sixth best 2 points for seventh best 1 point for the last I would like to add the following: 1-It's mandatory for paricipants to vote.
2-Participants can't vote for their own designs.
-->Therefore a participant starts voting at 2 points (awarding only 7 designs with points) and Brendan starts at 3 (awarding only 6 designs with points).
3-The dealine closes at 00.00 CET january 3rd 2006, that is Central European Time at midnight when we go from january 3rd to 4th 2006.To avoid any mistakes do the following: number of design, name of maker: 10 points number of design, name of maker: 8 points etc. Please write down the number of the design and the maker of the design!! If anybody has any questions; just post your question to this thread! Regards, sAner BTW: You can reply to this thread, but you can not post points here! Holy nuts! the standard is so high! Well done everyone!! Andy. I agree Andy! The standard is extremely high ... I was amazed by the fantastic designs I received!

In this case I must vote for my own design as well(?) 1. one design --> 10 points for the best design 2. one design --> 8 points for second best 3. one design --> 6 points for third best 4. one design --> 5 points for fourth best 5. one design --> 4 points for fifth best 6. one design --> 3 points for sixth best 7. one design --> 2 points for seventh best 8. one design --> 1 points for the last One is mine since there are 8 designs... Or do I see anything wrong? Patrick

You're right Patrick!! These are the points people can give away when they are no contenders themselves. The particpants can only give 7 designs points and in the case of Brendan; only 6. A participant thefore starts voting at 2 points and Brendan starts at 3. Does everyone understand? Man, who brought up this eurovision voting style? sAner

Crikies, how many dark horses are in there...... ;D All I can say is the person who wins really deserves it, they are amazing... DOH! -B Just wondering, can the votes be posted as a spreadsheet after the comp is closed, I'd be interested to see how things panned out.... I don't think anyone will have any issues with that?

It's gonna take some time for me to decide the order of my votes. They're all so brilliant. I'm going to let the designs sink in for a day or two before deciding. I have no problems with other people seeing how or why I vote, but you seem obsessed with it, Brendan Andy.

Photos appear fine now. Well done to everyone! Amazing stuff and of very high quality! Now, let's see if these photos appear anywhere else in the web as possible Nintendo releases..
I remind you that you have to send the votes to both me and Pieter. Just fill in the recipient box of your private message "saner, admin" (without the quotes). Easy.
Michael
